You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.
A player gets traded.
Another player tests free agency and changes teams.
To some, there is excitement for the change.
To others, there is trepidation and risk.
This is just a small sample size, since I only went back one season.
The players are sorted by their ECR (or Expert Consensus Ranking) which shows players of greater fantasy value higher.
I compared Total Yards and Total TD from their old 2018 team with these totals on their new 2019 team.
Negative differences are in (red).
Example: RB LeSean McCoy, who had an ECR of 100 (8th round roughly). He had 106 less yards in 2019 compared to 2018. But he had 2 more touchdowns in 2019 compared to 2018.
Tops on the list is Le'Veon Bell. Just a reminder, that he did not play (DNP) in 2018, so any measurable stats from 2019 would have been on the positive side. Was he worth a 2019 first round pick?
