AG is the opposite. He despises the state of Washington and pretty much everything about UW not sports-related.

Agree with AG on Smashburger. They aren't bad burgers. But too small for the price.

5 Guys rules. We just got a The Habit here. It's not as good as 5 guys...but close enough that I don't have to make the half hour drive to get 5 Guys anymore. Plus, I can Bleu Cheese on my burger at The Habit. lol

I ain't turning down Wendy's, but prefer Burger King, not sure why. lol

Sonic used to be good for shakes at least. But the last time I went to Sonic, the shake had a weird consistency. Ended up throwing it out after only a few sips. Haven't been back.

I don't usually care much for Sonic, but they have a new Sweet & Spicy Bacon Cheeseburger on Texas Toast that is very good. I can't find it on their online menu, so I'm guessing it is only available in certain markets.

I don't like Smashburger, either. It's too buttery.

I used to like an occasional Wendy's a few years ago, but most of their burgers taste like they are mainly derived from paper pulp. I much prefer Burger King.

By the way, AK: there's nothing Nazi-like in passing a brilliant law that prevents you from infringing on the rights of people who don't want to smell your disgusting cigarette smoke while they eat.

Had a really good fast-food burger at a chain called Culver's. I had never been there before, but really enjoyed it.

It seemed like it was probably a midwest chain, but this one was randomly in St. George Utah.

I'll take a 4x4 from In n Out and Cajun fries from Five Guys, with a side of heart disease.

If you’re ever in Western Washington you have to get Dick’s. Not Dick like UW folks like to take but the drive in. It’s better than In and Out and 9000% better than Sonic and their nastiness. Though I am bias against Sonic because I go to one at least every other day and see their drums full of the nasty ass fat they scrap off of their grills or are about to use.

If I'm ever there. I will.

Been to Washington once. I was in Puyallup for about a week. I liked it. It's on the short list of states to consider moving to if/when I can convince the wife to let me get us the hell out of California.

Seahawk season tickets wouldn't play any role in making that move now would it? :noidea:

Well damn depending on when you were here, the best drive in I have ever had was in Puyallup right across from the Puyallup Fairgrounds. It’s gone now and turned into some fish and chips bullshit, but still. Dick’s Drive In’s burgers are better than In and Out’s but their fries are better.

Richmond actually has been good to me and my family well the suburbs have been. But Austin is still the greatest city even tho the Californians have jacked up the housing market

Desirability. The nicer a place is or just the availability the more people can ask for their property when they sell it. So it's also Austins residences making money off Californians. To be fair. lol
It's kinda weird though. Growing up here there were always New Yorkers moving here for work and I never said or heard people say that they were screwing up the market. If you make enough and you can pay for it then good for you.
