It wasn’t a bad pick in 2019 considering how god awful that draft class was, however just because you made a 1st round investment in a putrid draft class doesn’t mean you should stay committed to it especially when there are way better options right around corner in 2021

I think the Skins wisely passed on Tua and Herbert this season. Circle 2021 you either have a mid level starting qb with a career ceiling a tad below Cousins or your in position to get a prospect in fields or Lawrence that blow Haskins out of water. The 2020 season will determine that. If skins end up with the #5 overall pick they need to do whatever it takes to get to #1

Sorry man, I cannot help you to understand the point. There's no comparison being made between Wentz, Dak and Haskins, Jones.

You seem to be locked into a defensive position coupled with a narrowed perspective that won't allow you to make room for a different look at this. So let's try this another way.

1. Understand that I'm defending you from charges of being called a Haskins "hater."

2. Let's agree that Wentz and Dak are currently getting most of the divisional chatter.

3. Let's also agree that no matter how we "feel" about Haskins and Jones, there's still a chance for one or both of them, through their play, to also become involved in all of the chatter previously limited to Wentz and Dak.

4. With #3 still in mind, I'm (not you) suggesting that any entry by Haskins and Jones into the the ongoing chatter previously aimed at Wentz and Dak, takes the focus from them to the new guys. Now if Haskins and jones prove better than you believe them to be, they would then become the focus of the division leaving you and loyal Philly fans "hating" the fact that your guy (and Dak) are no longer the focal points of the division.
Do you get it now?

Arguably, Philly has the top QB in the division (debating against Dak). To see Washington, and/or the Giants, now fielding two young guys, both showing promise, and the ability to turn a two person debate into a four person debate resolving with his guy in the third, perhaps fourth spot, can be frightening. Maybe it isn't hating Haskins per se, but it is so very typical of Philadelphia fans that I know.

This could honestly be the skins. This is something to be super excited about

Why are you held up on a guy that the Skins have no idea if they can even get. They just took a QB that started less than 10 games and they have no idea how good they will be...so no guarantee TL is even in the works for the Skins. That is a conversation they will need to have if:
1. The Skins are bad (are up for a top 2 pick) and Haskins looks like he regresses and shows signs of a career backup.
2. TL progresses and doesn't take a step back like he did at times last year.

he doesnt like haskins and he thinks posting 300 threads about it will persuade someone to change their opinion . haskins could in fact be a bust , cant say he wont , but he should get this year to see if he is the answer because in reality its a set back for the organization if he fails
