So now I'm not even supposed to like the Yankees? The only professional team within 20 miles of my house? You need to try and stay consistent or you will lose all credibi...err...nvm...too late...

I never had issue with you being a true Yankee fan. It's the living in NY and also being a Cowboy fan. Big difference

And again you wonder why I call you a moron.

A 4 or 5 year old football fan. Stop it. You barely knew your alphabet at that age. 5 year olds don't sit down and watch football games.

huh? You seriously need to stop just making shit up. Where do you come up with this stuff?
Plus, I hate to say it, but I think Manster might have been in HS in 1969...

5 year olds don't sit down for 3 hours and watch football. But like I said... it's all a coincidence.

Back in 69 there were only 3 channels and either you played outside or watched whatever was on. And if your dad was watching football on the 1 tv in the house, had no choice

The logic is just not possible to follow. The 'nobody is a fan at 5 years old' was just the clincher

His biggest problem (outside of his one track mind) is he is trying to put adult logic to a little kid picking their favorite team. Unless someone tells that kid pick this team because they always win. That is never the reason for a kid to pick their team.

My niece's 5 yr old son loves watching football. My niece is a Pats fan, her husband is a Cowboys fan and if you ask the kid his fav team, he says Pats, Cowboys and Eagles, no shit. I thought his dad would give him a whooping for the Eagles part

I was a big Jay Buhner fan.

Funny. I am in the seattle area & get asked all the time when I say I am a Mariners fan. People ask. Why? LOL
(if they aren't also Mariners fans)

So it is funny you ask. I say because I latch onto winners!

Never said I understood the game at 5, I said became a fan of the team. I had no idea what the Superbowl was either. Watching the game, assuming my dad liked the team, and the stars on the helmets, I was hooked.

I don’t believe you: I read somewhere that a 5 year old can’t be a fan.

Listen, not all 5 year olds can be fans. Those that are normal or advanced can, and those that are not, play with play dough or bang pots and pans and still wear diapers, kinda sad

the agenda remains strong

That makes no sense? What's my agenda? My belief that if someone is a Cowboy Laker fan or a Patriot Warriors fan it's because they want to identify with teams that have tons of rings. You're not even part of this cause you root for your home teams. Let's just say the Eagles has 5 or 6 SB's and all over Texas you saw people wearing Eagle jerseys. Not only that, they are all Laker fans too. You wouldn't comment on that?
