16 Team standard scoring with the following bonuses:
  • 2 extra points when total Catches is greater than or equal to 9
  • 1 extra point when total Receiving Yards is greater than or equal to 150
  • 2 extra points for every Receiving TD between 40 and 79 yards (inclusive) ALL
  • 4 extra points for every Receiving TD of 80 or more yards

Team 1 receives:

  • Juju Smith Schuster
  • 2021 3rd round pick

Team 2 receives:

  • Allen Robinson
  • 2020 pick 1.15
  • 2020 pick 4.9

This is league has fairly deep rosters, so a lot of the time later round picks in the drafts don't get used (late 3rd and on, depending on the team).

Team 2 wins IMO. I'd rather have Robinson then JuJu and the 1.15 is frosting.

I definitely would rather have ju ju but giving up the one might say me towards the Robinson side.

I think team 2 wins. Robinson is being drafted ahead of JuJu in PPR rankings, plus he gets a 1st round pick in the deal.

ARob: performed with pretty awful QB play so far in his career. had a bad season or two due to injury if my memory serves.

Juju: did not perform with awful QB play last year, but also tried playing through some injuries. Looks to have taken that seriously and has been working on his strength/muscle this off season.

since the WRs are more on the preference side than one being head and shoulders above the other, give me ARob + 1.15

There's a 3
Year age difference here too if that matters

There was a discussion on another thread that sometimes dynasty owners get too fixated on the "future," say 4 years from now.
That would devalue players like say a Robinson in my view.

Just using D2 as an example, we are what, 4 years in now... how many of us still have players we drafted 4 years ago? (The only 2 I have are Cousins and Rivers - and Rivers was old 4 years ago!)

ARob and the pick.

WR are too close to involve a 1st in that swap, imo.

...but I can see the JuJu owner declining too.

Both QB situations are shaky going forward, but JuJu probably has a longer leash.

I think it would be different if one was in late 20s and the other early 30s, but both entered the league under 21yrs old.
since we're talking about a WR that won't turn 27 until August, I don't think age should play much into this particular decision.

And Joe summed it up perfectly - unless we're talking elite talent that transcends poor QB (or poor team) play, I don't think you should be looking too much further than 2yrs down the road in dynasty.

you're going to draft players and hopefully make trades, so not worth shooting yourself in the foot in the near term in order to collect as much youth as possible when you can get an extra 1st round pick to go with similar WR production.

And there are some out there that think Juju was a 1-hit wonder playing opposite one of the best WRs to ever play the game. ARob has proven he can tote the load as the only known WR talent on a team.

i dont disagree at all, was just tossing it out there, as juju did have one monster season........age, combine with how good you feel he really is may be a determining factor for some......

echoing everyone else, gimme Arob and the 1. As the op stated, the #3 is of marginal value, JuJu and Arob too close. And I'm of the opinion Juju was more of a fluke with AB around then he will ever be good without him...hard to know for sure since Ben missed the year though, but that's where I'm at.
Can only imagine what ARob could ever be if he had even a decent NFL caliber QB

Love the Robinson side. He's Foles kind of receiver and looked pretty good last year.

Juju has a lot of question marks around him.

Yeah, I am the side getting Arob and the 1st. As much as I like Juju, which I do, I couldn't say no to the extra first round pick I'm acquiring here. He originally made the same offer with Keenan Allen instead of Arob, but luckily was still willing to do it after I countered with this.

I also like the fact that Arob is an UFA after this coming season. He'll have a chance to get out of the QB hell that he's been stuck in for the entirety of his collegiate and professional career.

I lean Juju. I think he's on another level from Arob. Arob is great but Juju is great and 23.

That said if somebody like Reagor or Ruggs is there at 15 that might be enough to flip things to Arob.

Small sample size to come to the decision that JuJu is on another level then ARob. You must decide that last year JuJu season was due to injury and not the QB or missing AB, because Ben is on his last leg and AB isn’t going to be on the team.

Yeah that's true. He does feel a little riskier. But his production at age 21 + 22 puts him in pretty rare company so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Juju is younger. ARob is better.

Let’s give Juju a bit of a pass for last season because of his QB situation, but this is a career defining season for him. If he fails to post WR1 numbers with Ben (I don’t think he is a WR1), then that will be an indicator that he is probably best utilized as a number 2.

It is highly possible, if not likely that Juju has already had his career season.

Give me ARob and the 1
