I don't know why the Eagles would be fucked.
we are just as good as the eagles with shitty coaching.

Could you imagine if we had a coach with a clue on Sundays.

Eagles are about as good as they are gonna be without an overhaul. (could get a tiny bit better)
Eagles already have good coaching

Cowboys, Redskins & Giants all have room for vast improvements.

That would pretty much fuck the eagles.

I'd say it's pretty much impossible for even an Eagles fan to dispute this, but their blind homerism still surprises me almost daily so I suspect they may try. Now do we still have shitty coaching? Maybe, maybe not. Impossible to say at this point.

You aren't as good as the Eagles with a bad HC though.

Also not sure how Eagles are about as good as they are going to be without aajor overhaul. They had an onslaught of injuries. Just being able to stay relatively healthy will provide a fair amount of improvement. Offensively we have a lot of speed at WR now, defensively we made our defensive line even deeper and finally added what will be our first competent CB since Asante Samuel.

The Reid era wasn't brutal at the end. His last season in Philly was doomed for failure with his son dying at training camp and Andy refusing to step away at all to deal with that grief.

Reid evolved constantly throughout his time in Philly and has evolved more during his time in KC. He's one of the true innovators in the league.

Pete went back to college after his first failed NFL HC job and evolved through coaching in college.

Tony has Peyton to thank for the Super Bowl. The defensive mastermind never built a great defense and the Colts never missed a beat when Tony retired.

McCarthy has always been who he is. He got fired and didn't do anything in the time since except stare at his crossed eyes in a mirror.

LoL! Everybody was tired of Reid his last couple of years here. He was 8-8 and than 4-12 and just about every Eagle fan wanted him out. His son dying sucked but did that effect his play calling in the middle of October? No, he coached horribly. He never evolved here or his clock management would have gotten better, the run game would have gotten better and his in game management would have gotten better. Fact is he was one stubborn ass that won a lot of regular season games but couldn't win thee game. KC breathed new life in him, made some changes and won a title.

Pete going to the NCAA had nothing to do with his success in the NFL. He said his failures in NE/NY is what made him a better coach in the NFL third time around.

Yes Tony had Peyton but he still had to make changes to finally get a SB win. The Colts did have a few years of a good defense they just ran into Brady at the wrong times. Since Dungy retired, what has the Colts accomplished?

McCarthy won a lot of games and a SB. Tough to win when the star QB has a tantrum and doesn't want to play. Like I said, we have no idea what he'll do in Dallas until the games are played.

Philadelphia has one of the worst sports fan bases in the league.

And yes his son dying effected him heavily that season. He was completely burnt out making rash decisions he would never make before like firing Juan just over a month into the season. When that happened the defense completely quit on the season and then the offense quickly followed. That team completely folded and quit by mid October.

To say he never evolved in Philly is so idiotic but it's no surprise to see it coming from you. Look at his offense early on in Philly and look how it transformed over the years. He was ahead of the curve with passing while the league was still a running lesgue. The offense evolved tremendously over the course of his tenure from one that closely resembled a short passing west coast offense to a very vertical down the field aggressive passing attack. Then when he brought Vick he took it to a whole other level. That offense in 2010 with Vick was truly special.

You're so completely clueless and a total bandwagon jumper living in the area yet a Seahawks fan. What a joke.

You are one dumb fuck, that's for sure. Quit making excuses for Reid and his horrible decisions the final couple of years. His son dying was tragic but even he wouldn't use that as an excuse, only you would pom pom waiver. If his pass offense evolved so tremendously and he was such ahead of the curve, where's the SB titles? He should have been blowing teams out in the playoffs especially with Jim Johnson's top ranked defense but of course that high flying passing attacke was usually ground when they faced better competition. Not one Eagles fan really gives a rats ass about the Vick era and great job on the 2010 season, that filled up the trophy case.

Yes I was born here but my family is from Washington so my dad raised me as a Seahawks fan but I do like the Eagles and root for them unless they play the Seahawks. I guess I jumped on the Hawks bandwagon back in the 80's when Krieg was the QB and suffered through the 90s with a piece of shit owner to Paul Allen and Pete Carroll finally winning a title. Real bandwagon fan I am. It pisses you off that you're a pom pom waiving piece of shit that hates facts when it goes against your argument cause you don't have a fucking clue about anything like case in point you were all high and mighty about the secondary last year and bragged how good they would be. How'd that turn out genius dip shit.

you got to remember RTK is PE1's retarded cousin.

At least PE1 knew the Eagles D especially the secondary was garbage. RTK came here claiming how great they would be even with facts staring him in the face that said other wise. Of course he was wrong like many other things.

I dont see how "Dallas looks like a 6-8 win team with their schedule" but Philly "looks like a 10-12 win team" with theres.

The 2 teams were very similar last year. Both teams got marginally better imo and they play the same schedule other than Philly has to play NO and GB while Dallas get Atlanta and Minnesota

I guess i must be missing something

"Even in what was undoubtedly a down season, Wentz was still quite good."

Undoubtedly down season? He put a team with no WRs on his back and took them to the playoffs by winning the division, becoming the first QB in franchise history to throw for over 4k yards in the process. Not to mention 27 TD passes and only 7 interceptions.
