I thought that the entire receiving corp and TE dropped to many balls last season. That 2nd Eagle game was a disgraceful performance especially by Coop. Those dropped passes killed drives and lost the game. Now you go look at Lambs tape and watch how he snatches the ball with his hands. Very few drops. The only thing I dont know about Lamb is the route running, but damn the drop rate and RAC is elite. He got some serious confidence and skills and he reminds me of a hybrid Irvin/Rice.. I thought he was easily better than Ruggs and Jeudy . Lamb certainly has got that "it" factor. I never thought he would drop out of the top 10.
I agree. The whole recieving group that game was awful. Gallop is young and I expect him to improve. Cooper also has to stay healthy and play much better on the road.

I'd be shocked if that happens, but I agree it should be exciting. The key will hopefully be McCarthy changing the scheme and letting Moore be creative, but also teaching him how to run an Offense. What this team could do with some creativity and breaking the stale chains of monotonous patterns and actually confusing defenses I can only imagine

1st and 10 you get a run up middle every time. 3rd and long a screen.

Also something that irks me is snap. Why not walking up and snapping the ball? They adjust, we adjust etc. We know what we are running, walk up and do it. But no, lets dance till the clock goes to 1. Never, ever do we catch them off guard.

I am excited about our offense.
Moore = Non vanilla & new coaching staff = experience on what to do. (it should work well together)

Its our defense that has me simply put as a question mark.
I have no clue if I should be happy or scared. I know nothing of what is to come here.

If you strip away all the personal issues the DLine has ability. We have seen what all "can" do. But my God is it a bunch question marks we are relying on. I feel like we could be in for a feast or famine situation.

Anyone have thoughts on the idea of Gallup going to the Jets for Adams? I'm sure we would have to throw in a pick as well, but for me, even though I really like Gallup, that is something I would do. Adams is an absolute monster

I do now

Saw that also. I'm pretty sure the assumption was Gallup and a 1st, so because of that I say no. Call me crazy, but I'd go Cooper for Adams straight up. Would cost us the $10M cap hit for Cooper too, but that's already a sunk cost. I'd be betting that we could get by with Gallup and Lamb and then bring in a #3. The upgrade on defense, which is the weaker part of the team, would be worth it for me and getting rid of Cooper's salary makes Adams an easy fit and actually frees up a little salary cap

As much as I love Gallup, he seems to just have some bad ju ju. Not sure why. Like Romo, he was just fucking awesome but for some reason just nothing really materialized for him. Shoot, not sure I put this the way I want, but him and Dak just seem off.

MLB is proposing a 76 game season and for players to take a 25% pay cut. Will the NFL be forced to do something similar? I really think Dak should just take the Cowboys best offer while the offer is still on the table. Covid-19 is not just magically going away. It will affect revenue for all NFL teams. It will affect the salary cap in a negative way

Lamb can hurt a defense in many ways other than the slot. He is better than Cobb and I liked Cobb. This could be the Cowboys version of the "greatest show on turf". Cooper,Gallup and Lamb are going too be hard to control

The addition of Cee Dee Lamb will pay off in a big way this season. The offense will be top 5, and could easily be the best Biadaz and mcgovern can handle LG and C. Williams can fill in all over the line. Pollard will fit the new offense like a damn glove. Jarwin will be a matchup problem. Cee Dee is the answer for red zone issues..he knows how to get to end zone. Getting jacked to see this offense

red zone and the line staying healthy are still my concerns for the Offense

I have those same concerns about OL. I do think Mcgovern and Biadazz are starting material. Both have potential to end up as starters at some point this season.

Biadazz will be a good addition to that line.

If we can get Jamal Adam's for a 1st rounder then I think you do this deal. It seems like the Jets are losing a little leverage. Can you imagine Jaylon,LVE and Adam's creating chaos in the middle? Adams is a beast and may not even demand an extension right away.

yeah that works for us. but why would the Jets do it?
They can get a 1st rounder next year as well. & keep an all pro safety for super cheap this year.
