IDK, doesn’t look too bad. Weeks 6-9 should tell us who this team is. 11-13 should either build our confidence or crush it. Bye week is at a good point too. Can't say this is a tough slate, certainly easier than '19. I also like home games at the end vs SF and Philly.

I agree, It's not like we didn't know our opponents before today. I also love the late season home games against niners & eagles as well as the bye week before @ Vikings, then two Thursday games with 10 days off for the last 4 games of the season

Without knowing to much about our defensive improvements or lack of this year with all the changes in personnel & coaches. Seems like another 10-6 season is on the horizon. If changes go well I could see as good as 12-4.

but I am not gonna get excited over our changes until I get to see something 1st.

No, not too bad, Just not easy. Someone said here the other day we had the 3rd easiest schedule in the league. Now i never know how they come up with those rankings when you have no clue how good teams are, but I can't see this as a top 5 easiest schedule in any way shape or form

Probably top 10 on the easy scale, since our division was so weak last year. The additions we made this year should put us in more shootouts than ground n pound games. I don't see very many D's that should cause us to adjust. Now we will have our off days too, but thru the first 9 games I just don't fear us getting a beat down. After the bye at Minnesota, then short week for Washington on Thanksgiving then at Baltimore are going to test us physically and mentally. If we can survive and play down to the wire, we just might have a playoff team. My guess here in May is 11 wins.

I trust the coaching will help out and hope they get that special teams fixed which. Could be the difference in a few wins. Defensively I got to be honest and say I dont know how good it will be. The potential is there to be better than last season. 9-11 wins is what I think happens. So 10 wins if the defense is similar
McCarthy could be the difference. Garrett seemed to lose at least 2 games a season with his terrible game management gaffes.

Tough to guess a number of wins win a totally new coaching staff. If we find out what we all thought all along about these coaches then I would think 10 or possibly 11 wins. But, I'm not sure our horrible defense from last year got much better if at all. Hoping it was scheme and predictability that was hurting us. I was talking to a friend of mine the other day and the conversation moved to: 'what if Garrett and the defensive guys were actually great coaches all along and were getting the most out of the players and hiding their weaknesses with the simple schemes'. It was kind of funny, but also not funny...

The only thing I don't like is starting the season on Sunday night again. I hate waiting all day.

I got Dallas with a floor of 10-6 and a ceiling of 12-4. Interesting schedule. The ones I’m really nervous about is Seattle and Baltimore.

Coming off 8-8, I have no idea about this team for next year. I have no prediction.

I hear yea. The biggest question mark for this team is obviously the defense, I think if they are average at best this team is good enough to go 10-6 since McCarthy is coaching instead of the ginger clapper. Anything better would be predicated solely on defensive performance specifically turnovers, lawd knows we need more of those.

They still have to prove they are better than last year after losing 2 of their top 3 defenders performance wise in 2019 and a perennial All Pro on the OL even if he didn't play at that level last year. I love the moves they made, but that doesn't erase losing those 3 until we see the team is put together better. Reason for optimism for sure, but there are still serious questions that need to be answered

Cowboys are nothing but a giant question mark.

As you pointed out. Some different players.
On Defense that already was underwhelming now has new DC & all other coaches. Hell we are supposed to stay primarily a 4-3 defense but even that still a question mark.

We have a new HC. & you cant even go back to what he did in the past because allegedly he reinvented himself in the offseason.

There is literally nothing that cant be questioned on this team.

You would think the surest thing is we stay a top ten offense, but what if our HC falls on his face & destroys what has worked? What if Frederick retiring upsets the apple cart we know as our O-line.

Now I think we will improve this season but outside of our Long snapper. I think we could/should question everything else on this team. Could become a nightmare or match made in heaven.

No one honestly knows which way it will go this year.
