I don’t think so. I believe I remember hearing about him having a bad attitude and sleeping through meetings and such

Beast. Jags won't get fair market value.

Offer a 4th, maybe as high as a 3rd if you really want him.

Not interested in giving up assets for a RB.

Interesting.
I thought for sure somebody would be willing to give up a seventh rounder. He would essentially be a more useful AP. He would be a better insurance policy than AP, just in case Guice and Love are not ready or unable.

Fournett is 10 years younger than Peterson ( 25/35)

Likely to become a free agent than subject in a trade. ( Seattle and Philly are interested)

Speculation over availability because 5th year option has been declined.

Will ask for a salary equal to or better than that of top tier RB's.

If I'm convinced that Guice can't stay healthy, I cut him and Peterson and get Fournette.

What would you give up?
N/A
Would you even attempt?
NO
Is he an upgrade?
YES

I personally would pass, ONLY because I need to know what I have with the stable of backs on my roster.
In 2021, I could get a younger, cheaper and possibly even better option in the draft.

What would you give up?

A free agency contract.

Would you even attempt?

Yes, in free agency

Is he an upgrade?

Depends on the target. If it's Peterson, then yes by 10 years (AP=35 vs. LF=25)

Shit. Unless he's fell off that proverbial cliff. I think I'd just as soon stay with AD over Fournette.

Another way to look at Fournette is this...

If you give up a fifth rounder, you control his rights.

If he sucks or is a problem, not too big of a deal as it was a fifth rounder.

If he is successful, we can resign him, franchise him, or trade him.

If he shows ability, but Guice and Love also show ability, we can allow Fournette to leave in FA. We can get upwards of a third as a comp pick.

Not enough there to be sustainable on downs 1-2. The only reason LF would be brought in is because we have no healthy Guice or Love. I'm not a proponent of keeping 35 yr old AP either at this point. If Guice and Love prove to be healthy, I keep Guice, Love, Gibson & McKissick as my 3rd down back if needed. (4) If one or both go down we have problems anyway. Let's roll with the young guns.
