One of my favorite singers John Prine, died today. Starting in the mid-'90s, Prine also dealt with several serious health issues. He had a cancerous tumor in his neck removed in 1996, successfully beat lung cancer in 2013 and had a heart stent implanted in 2019 due to an elevated risk of stroke.

The point I'm making is the nation is taking extreme measures in order to stop the spread. Measures that are not taken with the flu and we are still seeing these numbers rise daily. All reports have indicated this week and next week will be the most devastating in terms of numbers yet.

All I'm reiterating is that this is not just another flu. These precautions need to be adhered too and any hope of things getting back to "normal" before June is foolish in my opinion. I'm married to a Dr. at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She is scared of this thing and the lack of respect people are giving to it which will only prolong the "shutdown".

As for sports getting back on track, that’s still going to be months. Let me repeat...MONTHS. Say they open things up in June, optimistic, in my mind and 1 person tests positive for Covid 19 then their team and every team they played for 2 weeks would need to be quarantined. That would shut down any league. Just think about that for a second and let it sink in. I’m just being realistic here. No conspiracy theories. Come on...
