Sorry Buddy!
Nice moves!

In another mock, I traded up for Antoine Winfield's son in the 2nd and drafted Gladney at 21 (whom was available after your trade down) so you out GM'd me by a 3rd rounder and a 4th rounder.

Thought I'd let you know.:suds:

@Clayton Nice pick at the end of round 2. I thought you might go RB in the 1st but CEH is maybe the 2nd best All-Around RB in this draft and gives them a nice weapon that can make things happen in the open field. If the Broncos didn't get Gordon on a big contract I had thought a little about the idea of getting CEH in the 2nd.

@rmilia1...Jonathan Taylor...I didn't see that coming yet, but he probably was BPA. You can't count on Gurley for more than one season, assuming he passing his physical. Good pick, and having Kinlaw on the board at 16...ATL is off to a great draft so far.

The thing about the Chiefs and the RB spot is that you see them win the Super Bowl and you think they're in a good spot but Damien Williams missed time again last year. I have some serious doubts about him being able to hold up a whole season. Chiefs have been making Mahomes run with the football too much. Its a fun risk when he is young and trying to win the Super Bowl but when he is the franchise guy making the most money in the NFL then the Chiefs need to run the football with their RBs.

CEH comes from a pass happy system where he was asked to run routes. He seems like a good fit to attack gap and zone schemes. He is a really good fit for the Chiefs. In the main NFL draft thread, I mentioned that is the an elite 'trick stick' player that can kinda do it all but I question his ability to hold up in the NFL for a long period of time. Thats worth a late 2nd round pick imo.

There are a couple of players I like around this spot. I feel like mid-late 2nd is a good value point for the Chiefs.

Late 2nd it is good value for the Super Bowl champs. Adds a new weapon to an already ridiculous arsenal and fits well with what they want out of the RB position. And longevity to me isn't that big of a concern at this point as the Chiefs know they have about a 2-year Super Bowl window of really big time chances with Mahomes on a rookie deal. So have to maximize those two years.

Now understand that is not me saying the Chiefs will never compete for Super Bowls once they pay Mahomes just that it obviously gets a little trickier once so much is dedicated to one player.
