CL - Nen (dude gave his arm for a shot at a title. Wilson did as well, and he was successful, but in the event of a tie, Wilson’s actions break the tie in a negative way)

Toughest calls were Ryan Howard at 1B, Scott Rolen at 3B (Schmidt was really before my time, but legendary and still active in the team), and Carlos Ruiz at catcher.

I was at Schmidt’s last game (not counting the All Star game). It was at the Stick, and it incidentally also happened to be Will Clark’s first career grand slam.

I quit following for a very long time after the last strike. I started watching the 2002 WS. Then not at all again until about 2006.
