@msgkings322 where is your daily update on Covid-19?

I just check that same site, Worldometer

Another pretty good day today, deaths (which matter) and new cases (which don't as much) both down a bit. It is clear we are no longer going parabolic, the curves have bent. All this shutdown crap is working, thank God. It's happening in Europe too. We are beating this.

As I had hoped, we shouldn't have anywhere near 100,000 deaths from this in the US. Sorry @WiggyRuss

LOL yes! Actually you probably can now, take out only. That's how it is here in CA, most restaurants are open for take out or delivery only.

I have to think by then we will be back to something like normal, with some extra precautions still in place, especially for those at risk (the elderly, those with compromised immune systems or respiratory diseases, diabetes, etc)

Happy Passover by the way to all the other Jews here, and the rest of you too why not.

Doesn't surprise me, that's one of the biggest reasons they got hit so hard.

Kobe definitely should have won MVP that year. That Lakers team was trash. Fucking Smush Parker, Kwame Brown, and Luke Walton were starting. That Tim Thomas shot still bugs me. Just needed a stop and a the rebound and we win the series over a very good Suns team. We got the stop but the rebound was missed by inches. I doubt that team would have beat the Mavs in the playoffs but the 2nd round would have been the Clippers, which I think they could have beat.

And if projections are wanted, I like this one (might have been provided by someone here earlier)...

Not so sure by Memorial Day...but think midJune/July very realistic to BBQs, back to work, etc.

and I'd gladly take that.

Yeah i agree. Things are getting better

Things will likely return to normal sooner in some areas than others based on everything from how soon they were hit, to how hard they were hit and based on the demographics of their area (some places are more spread out and/or have fewer people).
