Actions definitely go further than words, and what Darlene did earned a lot of points with me - maybe it is just my liking of Ruth’s character. Of course Darlene has ulterior motives though and will use what she did as a big benefit to her. Although it’s rarely shown, I really think Marty has a father/ daughter kind of of relationship with Ruth. I think Ruth knows this too. Of course she doesn’t give two shits about Wendy, and this will never change.

Well she sort of ties in with Navarro vs Lagunas??. I may have the second cartels name wrong. Will she act on Marty’s information or not? She said she was six weeks away from due date, so obviously there won’t be or shouldn’t be much of a time lapse next year, unless they just write her off which I don’t think this is possible.

The loyalty aspect of this show- Can anyone really trust anyone ? I mean Darlene killed her husband , Wendy killed her bro or had him killed, my girl Ruth killed her uncles.

The only real loyalties I see is Ruth and her cousins and possibly Marty.

Marty and his kids and possibly Ruth.

Im pulling for a Marty/ Ruth reunion and taking down Wendy but who knows. Wendy just pisses me off.

I don't think we're supposed to nesessarily like her. I think her growing thirst for fullfilment and power, given their very dangerous situation, is the most interesting dynamic in the show. Just how bad will she break, and who will she take out to get her way, is what I'm wondering.

Yeah, I think there is a fierce loyalty between Ruth and Marty.

I seem to recall multiple times where Ruth defends Marty.

She's working for Darlene to spite Wendy and will do whatever it takes to thwart her. That being said, when push comes to shove, I think Ruth would turn the tables to protect Marty and the kids if need be.

Thoughts on when this series is all done who makes it out still alive? I think at least one of the Byrde's will not make it out of the series, but trying to think which one goes. I just don't think the entire family can make it out of this mess alive and in one piece.

So if you look at the main focal point characters in the season.
Byrde's
Ruth

who goes? I just think at least one ore more of those don't make it. Of the Byrde's, Wendy is my least liked, that seems easy, but this series is a roller coaster and I could Wendy being the last one standing. But at the same time, I could see her getting written off. I like Ruth, but I could see something happening to her in season 4 if she sides with Darlene.

As someone posted this series is to go 5 seasons. I see in Season 4 Wyatt getting taken out, likely due to actions from Marty or Wendy, which creates a growing resentment from Ruth toward the Byrde's. Making season 5 the final showdown of Ruth vs Byrde's.
