I think part of the Peterson hype was him as a PR too. They combined the two to somehow make him an elite CB.. He was a good CB, no doubt about that... But he doesn't belong with the others I mentioned earlier.

Chris Harris is probably one of the best slot cover CB's in NFL history.

Watched 2015 kc game and right before half Talib picks off Smith. Talk about intelligence. Allowed Denver to tie the game rigth before half

4th all time. Just saying some of the best CB’s don’t have eye popping td totals cause they aren’t thrown at. Talib is obviously a good CB. Wasn’ referring to him.

Ray Crocket should be mentioned don't know he is worthy of any list . all the same fun to watch

I love Ray Crockett. One of my favorite non Bronco players before he was a Bronco. I wouldn't list him in the top 5 Bronco CB's of all time but he sure was one of my personal favorites.

Brings me to another list. Free Agent/Trade CB's that I loved before they were Broncos (This could be a long list but I am going with the top ones)

Ray Crockett
Darrien Gordon
Terrell Buckley
Dre Bly
Tracy Porter

Man, I was pumped when we acquired these guys, players I loved from their college days that ended up Broncos at some point of their career.

Darrien Gordon was on Denver for both years then released due to a big contract. Left him unprotected for the Browns expansion draft, but they didn't take him. Ended up playing for the Raiders, Packers and back to the Raiders.

Crockett was on our Super Bowl 32 team... They got the rings!!

Darrien Gordon had two interceptions in Super Bowl 33. Probably was our Defensive MVP of that Super Bowl.

Gordon is probably our best PR in franchise history.

Holliday was the bigger boom or bust player. Both played 2 seasons with Denver;

Holliday: 1,800 yards, 5 TD's, 10 fumbles.
Gordon: 800 yards, 3 TD's, 4 fumbles.

You didn't know if Holliday was gonna take it to the house or screw us, talk about edge of your seat.

Holliday was a much better KR then PR. He only had 2 PR’s for tds for us. He cost us games.

Ill never forgot the game Gordon had vs Carolina for us. Won the game on a 94 yard PR td. Has two in the game.

To go with DCs CB theme I was really excited when Denver signed Dawkings, Lynch, and Ward. Those were 3 of my favorite safeties and then they came to Denver.

My favorite Broncos Safeties are Atwater, and Smith. Simmons is on his way to join that list. I am sure my memory is failing me on others that I enjoyed watching, and I am sure I will be reminded.
