since @msgkings322 is all about good news, we just got some from gov cuomo.

74% of those hospitalized been discharged, deaths in NY is dropping over the past few days, and ICU, & number of new hospitalizations and icu admissions down

That's fantastic. It seems like that good news is coming a little earlier than expected too.

Obviously y'all can't start filling up Times Square, the subways or Central Park yet...but it looks like things are headed in the right direction.

Here's hoping it stays that way.

My biggest concern about this virus in general is what happens when social distancing ends and/or businesses are back open?

Does staying home really help us prevent the virus in the long term? Feels like this is a short-term solution.

Maybe.

We also may find that, like the flu, it's something we have to learn to deal with and hopefully come up with better treatments and vaccines.

Additionally, I've seen a couple of reports that suggest that once you've had it, you're immune. If that's true, then we've likely seen the end of it.

I can't remember if it was chicken pox or the measles (maybe both) where you are immune once you've had it. But I remember parents intentionally exposing their kids to it so that they could get it over with and get the immunity.

But there isn't anything definitive on that yet, at least not that I've seen.

Generally speaking, these things take a toll when they first appear, then we learn how to deal with it going forward.

This one is a little trickier because you can have it, but never exhibit a symptom. I think the docs will get it figured out and come up with something though.

If this has already been mentioned my bad. Ran across an article about who could get in the HOF next year.

Should be HOFer: Paul Pierce, Chris Bosh, Chris Webber (BOOOOO!!!!!)

Maybe HOFers: Shawn Marion, Ben Wallace, Chauncey Billups

Borderline HOFers: Tim Hardaway, Amar'e Stoudemire, Marques Johnson, Shawn Kemp

Probably not HOFers: Antawn Jamison, Pega Stojakovic, Stephon Marbury

Starting to feel like Hardway will never get in.

For the maybe HOFers, I think Ben and Billups get in.

Yeah I can see Ben & Billups getting in. As far as Hardaway. Guess that's the price he has to pay for telling everyone he's homophobic. Wouldn't mind seeing Marques Johnson get in though.

The more I think about it, I wouldn’t be surprised if he picks Minny.

He was extremely loyal to them. He refused to leave via free agency when he easily could have. He is hands down the greatest player in franchise history and he returned to play his last couple seasons there.

Boston has such rich history that KG will be just another guy in a long line of championship contributors. He is the face of the Twolves franchise. And I think that matters to him.
I don't know.

I think he acknowledges Minny. But, goes in a Celtic.

He and Taylor had a falling out.

I’m more with individuals versus the teams. I’ve gotta admit that. I’ve gotta say that Embiid, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jokic, Porzingis, Damian Lillard, Curry, Durant, I’m enjoying the young bucks, watching young Ingram get better and watching little L. Ball figure it out, you know what I’m saying? I’m checking it all out. I like individuals, not so much on the organizations. Obviously I’m gonna be with Minnesota and the players. Not so much upstairs. I don’t really deal with Minnesota’s upstairs. They suck. But Boston, all day. You know I’m a C ‘till I die. I always root for Brooklyn. But other than that I don’t really get into too many of the upstairs. I’m more watching the guys and watching their progression.
