Scar has not fully retired from the Pats yet. Sounds like he is helping Belichick out by heading to the Combine and checking out the OL talent.
Well as far as I know we have not named his replacement yet?

Historically Bill doesn’t really make announcements about his coaching staff. It’ll just be published in the media guide later in the year.

Thought this was a pretty interesting mock. This lady is a data analyst who’s been developing a computer model to create a mock that optimizes player selections based on how much it will improve a team’s win probability.

Her model’s prediction? A speed receiver.

I like that.

Is there one that was an absolute missile in college but had to miss the combine due to knee surgery?
That'll be our guy!

I opened the link and all I got was an invitation to start a free trial of watching every game. I couldn't find one headline or block with a mock draft. I hate shit that tries to get you to buy something with a "free trial" that's just long enough that you forget the free trial and end up being billed on day 8.

If there’s still issues with that link you can find the original article on nfl.com or just google Cynthia Frelund mock draft

How did you prioritize? Based on the draft strength, Pats needs, some of both or best available?

I’m primarily a BPA type of guy, but I also try to manipulate the board to get guys I think fit the Pats system and profile in places where I think their value is right, so I guess it’s a little bit of all of those things.

Like for example Jackson filled a need since i’d dealt Cannon, but I also figured Cajuste and Eluemunor could compete for that spot too. And there’s some depth at OT in this draft so I felt I could trade down and still get one, but I didn’t have to force it either. Then I tried to trade up to get a DT I really liked that had slid to the top of the 3rd but couldn’t pull it off (I had signed Onyemata from the Saints during the FA portion) and from there I mostly focused on adding some guys I thought could supplement the offensive weaponry. Plus a safety, pass rusher and a kicker that I liked.

Seriously, The Patriots are extremely thin at Linebacker. A bunch of Mockers think that Bill will take Baun out of Wisconson who is a Van Noy clone only faster.

I would’ve liked to have addressed the LB position at some point, but it didn’t work out that way (though Tuszka could potentially be developed into an OLB role). In this exercise I was able to retain Roberts and sign Sean Lee, though.

He might get drafted i a late round. If we have some late round picks to burn, he is worth the shot.
Must be willing to committ to football over wrestling.

Wonder if SF's fullback opened some team eyes to the position?

Plays through the whistle.
And the block.
And the endzone.

I love the way he never looks back to see if he's clear. He just pours the coals on.
