I’m going with the Rams. Eric Dickerson and Marshall Faulk stand toe to toe with Sweetness and Sayers.
But some of that is knowing nothing about Bronco Nagurski etc.

you did?

LOL....the Bears HOF'ers played RB in Chicago while the best Ram backs padded your stats playing for other teams

You're either an idiot or extremely young, but either way, mostly full of shit

As for Dallas Rams I’m ranking them...
1. Emmitt Smith
2. Eric Dickerson
3. Marshall Faulk
4. Zeek (maybe a little high at this point but I think the kid is fantastic and he regularly shreds the Eagles)
5. Dorset

I don’t know. It’s close. Both teams have had a long history of tremendous RBs. Kind of hard to say.

sure if you count yardage with other teams. Least all the yards with Payton & Sayers is with Chicago

Trying desperately to make up for 30,000 yards and 200+ more TDs, sorry you aren't going to find it. Those guys were at their best with the Rams, and didn't do a whole lot outside the Rams besides Faulk and Dickerson with a few years.

Zeke doesnt belong ahead of Dorsett as of right now.

He had retired 2nd in rushing history at the time. (behind sweetness)

who's mad? Just stating the truth.
Ram RB stats are with other teams while the best Bear RB's are with Chicago.

Looking at Dallas back when they were with Dallas only
Smith 8 Pro Bowls, 4 All Pros 20174 total yards and 164 TD's
Dorsett 4 Pro Bowls, 1 All Pro, 15468 total yards and 85 TD's
Don Perkins was a 6 time pro bowler with 7527 total yards and 45 TD's in the 60's
Elliott in 4 seasons not 5 like Gurley has 3 Pro Bowls, 1 All pro for 7024 total yards and 48 TD's
Calvin Hill 4 pro Bowls, 1 All pro 6368 total yards and 45 TD's
Murray in 4 season with Dallas, 2 pro Bowls, 1 All pro, 5727 total yards and 29 TD's
Barber 1 Pro Bowl, 5638 total yards and 53 TD's
Walker 2 Pro Bowls in 3 seasons and 5 games, 6047 total yards and 39 TD's

My stats are with Dallas only...pep squad's Ram backs is career stats....huge ass difference

Dallas started in 1960
Rams, 1937

These kinda posts are the ones I usually try & stay clear of. (no clear right answers)
but I see it (could have a lil favoritism) Dorsett over Faulk. I believe if they played in the same era, I would want Dorsett.
If Faulk played in Dorsett's era, he wouldnt be the duel threat guy that makes him so highly ranked. (20, 30 screen passes) & if Dorsett played in a wide open offense era that Faulk got to experience. I would salivate over the idea of Dorsett starting in open space with the ball. In fact I am still waiting for that kinda RB to play for Dallas nowadays.

Could you imagine TD playing on the offense of the greatest show on turf!

Statwise Faulk will be over Dorsett.

but like I said. It is all subjective. dealing with different eras.

I get your point. That’s why I left a little disclaimer next to it. Maybe it’s premature and Dorset was a star but I think Zeek is really REALLY good. Maybe cause he’s fresher in my mind.

I’ll admit....you gave this more of a run than I expected when I opened the thread. Very interesting statistics, though I’m not putting much of any weight in the Pro Bowl numbers.

Challenge still remains.....when you think of the Bears you think of Sayers and Sweetness right away. Especially Walter. It just associates with great running backs, even if many years Bears RBs are so-so.

When I think Rams RB I think of Dickerson and Faulk. And I see them as Colts almost as much as Rams.

Just this association leads me to answer Bears on this one.

Don't wanna Bragg but I had to hit 2 different buttons to find that research. I'm resting now. Physically it was not to bad but mentally it took a toll.

Please.

Sweetness was an all time great but Dickerson, Faulk with Gurley and the OP forgot the Bus. Speaking of Buses Steven Jackson was a beast. Forte can’t touch any of those guys.

lol @cowgirls on here still butthurt over a playoff loss 2 years ago and me owning him for days since

I intentionally left off the bus, because he was a Steeler more than a Ram
