If he has a great season w/o Burrow then that will prove a lot and put him in top 10 without a doubt. Mediocre season probably still go in early in the 1st though so he really has nothing to lose unless he gets hit with the injury bug or serious injury. You know he is going to kill the combine.
i know he had a great year, but numbers aside i havent read much about projection have you? or are you strictly going with the production.....

really? well then yeah he'll go high....i wasnt sure how his actual physical traits translated. You know what i mean? Like the hawaii receiver who has 100 catches for 1900 yards but wont even get a combine invite.......i know thats extreme but more college numbers dont always mean everything

I mean Chase plays in the SEC as well so he will be facing tough competition. Either way he will have to have a bad year to drop his stock lower or out of the 1st imo.

Well yes but again, that's flawed too. The Tennessee wr had a good year....on a crap team, he's not gonna go High . Plenty of good guys coming out from the big ten tht arent gonna go high.

I think there is already enough film on him. He dominated Florida and CJ Henderson and he is the #2 CB on the board. He beat AJ Terrill badly and Terrell is going to go somewhere between pick 25 and 40 in this draft. He was the only WR that exposed Trevon Diggs IIRC and he'll go somewhere between pick 25 and 60 depending on what people think about his lack of ball skills. Also went against LSU's secondary in practice on a regular basis.

Imo, he just needs to stay healthy and somewhat productive and he'll go top 5.

Jamarr Chase would be the #1 WR in this draft and that is saying something.

As for the CB's you are right after Okudah it is a long list of question marks. Henderson might be the most athletic CB in this draft even over Okudah but he is really lacking in technique and honestly some understanding of his responsibilities on any given play. Diggs is still new to the position so will be interesting to see how long he takes to develop. Terrell might be maxed out on what he will be and looks like a #2 CB more so than a potential #1 guy.

Honestly one that is really climbing my boards the more I watch him is Jaylon Johnson of Utah.

I see him like a Rock Ya Sin type. I don't really love the tape but he is probably the #3 CB in terms of potential. If you trust your coaches then you draft him....just maybe not top 20.

NFL Rumors: Dolphins Might Not Be Locked In On Tua Tagovailoa At No. 5

“We’ve heard so much about the Miami Dolphins and Tua. ‘The Dolphins tanking for Tua,'” Schefter said on ESPN. “I’m not so sure the Dolphins are all in on Tua the way people think, and it will be interesting to think what they would do at five if he is there, if Miami doesn’t trade up, move around, whatever it may be. I’m not so sure Tua will be their guy. We’ll have to see how this unfolds in the next month ahead.”

I don't think anyone has a clue what they're going to do I sure as hell don't. You'd think QB at 5 but which one? They all have potential and flags. At the same time if they pass on a guy like Tua and he turns all pro that would be very bad miss. I'm cool with taking a swing than bunting unless they simply don't like him then trade back grab an OT and make a move up with 18 for a QB if necessary.

My top 15 WRs in the draft.

It is a pretty deep class. I think you get a WR in my top 6 you get get someone who can function both as a playmaker and potentially develop into a #1 target on your team. 7-11 I think you have a really good chance to get a really solid and respectable #2 WR. Then 12-15 you got guys with a good ability that you could harness and gameplan into a valuable asset for your offense.

  1. CeeDee Lamb
  2. Jerry Jeudy
  3. Denzel Mims
  4. Henry Ruggs III
  5. Jalen Reagor
  6. Brandon Aiyuk
  7. Justin Jefferson
  8. Van Jefferson
  9. Tee Higgins
  10. Bryan Edwards
  11. Michael Pittman Jr
  12. Laviska Shenault
  13. Chase Claypool
  14. KJ Hamler
  15. James Proche

I would probably move Tee Higgins up a few spots. He is over 2 years younger than Van Jefferson who I see as more of a mid-2nd rounder.

Change of plans, time to tank for Fields or Lawrence I guess. If they're not taking Tua, might as well trade out of the #5 spot

Anyone else see the Clyde Edwards-Helaire hype dying. He got hype because he was on LSU, and that was the IT team. He was a really good college back. At a premier school. But kinda like Elijah Holyfield the year before. Hype to an extent due to the program and team. Holyfield, andother small back had sleeper hype for the 1-2-3 round at some points.......As does CEH. Then the dust settled, holyfield tested poorly, didnt get drafted. CEH probably will get taken, but unless he improves that 40 time, and by ALOT, hes a late round pick.......and his time is troubling........small backs with those 40 times havent performed well historically
Not sure who was hyping him up but I can see him being a good fit for a team who needs a 3rd down back. Idk if I would compare him to Holyfield as I think CEH skillset is more fit for the NFL

If mod thinks this should be a separate thread, please move....

So hope it does not come to this, but what happens with 2021 draft if there is no 2020 CFB season (whether there is or is not an NFL season)?

I guess same rules would apply to everyone, but what a disaster that would be as far as evaluation. I mean, with no 2019 season, Burrow is at best a midround pick. No 2018 season and no way Haskins goes round 1.

I like him a lot, actually. His issue, imo, is that his style will get him hurt at the next level so you might only get 2-5 years out of him.

He is a top tier 'trick stick' player. CEH can muster a lot of strength with his legs and has really quick feet. That gives him elite lateral agility, elite trucking, and a good spin move. Elijah Holyfield had a Vert of 29" while CEH has a Vert of 39.5". Thats comparing bottom tier explosiveness to top tier explosiveness.

I think once you get outside of the top 50 picks then he is a possibility. I like him for the Chiefs. He is lacking the ability to hit the home run with a long run that exists on almost every other player on the Chiefs, though, so I'm not sure he is on their radar.
