Honestly - that's why I don't understand why anyone would trade a couple day two picks to move up a nab a WR.

Good point about Mims and Reagor having QB problems - Alabama certainly in the QB and WR situation were able to feed off of each other.
Even Brandon Aiyuk didn’t have a great QB option this year. Jayden Daniels who will be good probably by next year or his JR year but Aiyuk made the most of every catch. ASU ran Eno Benjamin a ton as Daniels was inconsistent as expected as a true FR starter.

Same- Don’t like Andrew Thomas for us. Laviska’s nagging injuries are fine in rd 2.

FWIW

Stink because he works at Fox is always asking current Oline coaches who they like and Thomas is the guy that comes up the most. But then again Stink liked Bolles the best.

I don't dislike Andrew Thomas. I think he is a little overrated though and I don't think he is a great fit.

I worry he has maxed out his potential. He is not exactly the most gifted athletically.

One note on SF... They need a WR for sure... But if Lamb and Jeudy are both off the board and they are picking at #13 and us at #15.. Deebo Samuel is a lot like Henry Ruggs... Seems to be they would be more on the Jeudy/Lamb wagon then Ruggs. Right now I wouldn't be surprised by any order of the top 3 WR's though. Just really depends who is picking and what they fall in love with. A guy like Tyreek Hill probably has helped Henry Ruggs status while a guy like John Ross has probably hurt it (although Ross came into the draft with just one healthy year so injuries should have been a concern)

Draft Fear for us @Orange Crush77 - KC takes Patrick Queen at 32. GULP

I use to have an older guy named Rob who did my OL rankings/columns on my draft site. This has been about 8 years ago or so. He was wonderful. I don't know what ever happened to him. But I left OL all up to him. He was incredible at it. I need to find that fella. He was an Oregon Ducks fan and his wife thought he was crazy for being so into the draft...

I text Mark Schlreth during his morning show. He’ll answer my questions.

21 more sleeps until the draft.

I hope Denver’s IT dept has improved since fax gate. They cut Dumervil to avoid a $13 M cap hit since Elvis could not find a fax at a kinkos and was 6 minutes late signing his offer.

Packers and Saints have shown a lot of interest in Jordan Love as well. Saints aren’t a surprise but
Aaron Rodgers hmmmm.

I agree with this statement. I worry about him athletically.

What is your take on Josh Jones? @cdumler7

Pretty darn raw coming out of college. Not as raw as Bolles when he was in the draft but not all that far ahead either.

I love him on pass sets as easy to see his athleticism really shine in his ability to mirror. I do worry whether that was level of competition or because he was that good though.

I also worry about his strength in the run game. Broncos want to go to a Power Gap look it seems and well he isn't the greatest mover of bodies.

If he is there in the 2nd then I have no problem taking that risk and giving Munchak a year to mold this kid into a high quality LT in the league. In the 1st though there is just too much risk involved for me.

Given the lack of OT depth I think Jones will be overdrafted. I like him but major buyer beware to me. I think you will see him go in that 18-26 range. Team like Miami who really needs OT help and probably misses on the top guys.

Yeah agreed. Really I think OT is a position that usually gets overdrafted because of the cost of the position these days. Right now QB, pass rusher, and WR are the 3 highest paid positions when it comes to the top guys. OT though is that group that even the below average players get paid. Look at this past offseason and how many terrible tackles got paid big time money. So teams will panic a bit and overdraft early on for the position.

Personally for me I'm hoping the Broncos wait until about the 3rd round and take a developmental guy. Quite a few guys that fit that bill and wouldn't be a huge reach in the 3rd.
