Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods have agreed to meet again in 2020.

The only difference is that they each will have a non-pro golf partner.

Tiger Woods and Tom Brady vs Phil Mickelson and Peyton Manning.

Gonna watch it??

I wonder if this will be 18 holes or a 72 hole weekend extravaganza from Augusta, Georgia?

If I were them, I'd be going after John Smoltz as a partner.

I think John has either played a SR tour event or somehow maybe not be an amateur anymore, but if they are trying to get people to watch...the two QBs would be more fun.

If they're trying to win...I agree Smoltz, and maybe even Matt Ryan

I imagine that the promoters would be trying to maximize the ratings for this event and the Brady/Manning combo, or even Romo will bring in more casual viewers than Smoltz. If Tiger and Phil were allowed to pick their own partners without any consideration for ratings that would be a completely different story obviously.

No question...there are a lot hi profile athletes or celebrities that play golf on a pretty good level and would be appealing. Like Steph Curry and we mentioned Romo.

IMO that would be more fun than watching Phil and Tiger in a cash grab match.

I don't think I'd call him a true amateur anymore after qualifying for the sr open. If he were on he'd smoke Brady or Manning.

I'd take Tony Romo

Smoltz qualified for the senior US Open a couple years ago, and Tiger Woods has called him the best non professional golfer he's ever played with.

I agree Smoltz is damn good, but has Tiger ever played with Romo? Having a 0.4 handicap is pretty damn good as well.
