Atlanta Falcons

Tyeler Davison, DT: Agreed to a three-year, $12 million deal that includes $4.5 million guaranteed, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported.

Dante Fowler Jr., Edge: Agreed to a three-year deal worth up to $48 million with the Falcons, Pelissero and Rapoport reported.

Todd Gurley, RB: Agreed to a one-year, $6 million deal with the Falcons, Rapoport reported. He received a bonus of $7.5 million from the Rams, and there is a $2.5 million offset. In total, Gurley gets $11 million to play in 2020, per Rapoport.

Hayden Hurst, TE: Acquired in a trade with the Ravens (along with a 2020 fourth-round pick) in exchange for 2020 second- and fifth-round selections, per Rapoport.

They also signed WR, Laquon Treadwell.

These are the in bound moves.

The Outbound Moves...Austin Hooper, TE went to CLE, Desmond Trufant, CB goes to DET, Davonte Freeman, RB ??, DeVondre Campbell, LB to AZ.

My Thoughts?

On the surface...this looks like a much better team on paper. Campbell imo will be missed more than a lot of people will realize, but I expect them to draft a LB this yr. These moves clearly take some of the "need" away from the draft, but LG, CB and Edge (future starter, depth) are positions that still need to be strengthened.

Draft...A lot of buzz for DT Kinlaw, but he would likely require them to move up. A lot mocks for the LSU Edge Chaisson. Some talk of CB...I think it's safe to say the Falcons will go DEF if they stay at 16 or move up.

@night @rmilia1 your thoughts on the Falcons?

The NFCS could very well be the toughest DIV in the league...Ryan, Brees, Brady, Bridgewater...Teddy is the weak link there, but have proven when healthy to be a competent starter.
