The Brooks Conrad game

Braves trailed by 8 in the 8th and were down 9-3 going into the 9th.

Sadly, Conrad isn’t remembered fondly in Atlanta due to his terrible defense in the NLDS. Kinda feel sorry for him. He was a good bench piece, but was forced into starting duty with Chipper and Martin Prado being hurt, when meant Omar Infante has to play third. Eventually they stuck the corpse of Troy Glaus at third and moved Infante to second, but it was too late.

One of my favorite Red Sox games. I considered going to bed when it was 7-0, but I stuck through it anyway and it ended in one of the greatest comebacks in postseason history. Sox forced a Game 7 but couldn't pull off the 3-1 comeback again. Still very proud of that 2008 squad. I became a pretty big Drew fan that year, but this game sealed it for me. The Crisp at bat was also pretty epic.
