yes. And del Greco almost hit the long snapper with 2 FGs....and George fumbled a catch right into ray Lewis’s arms for a pick 6
Yeah, that game is one of the biggest all-time anomalies. If it happened in Madden you would think the game was cheating.

You can argue that his best days were clearly as an Eagle; however, his profile was highest as a packer. I think, if you ask most neutral NFL fans who White played for - you are likely to get Packers far more often than Eagles. JMHO.

Huhh? You’re absolutely nuts. No way

Lambert played the MLB spot and Ham OLB...we're probably splitting hairs as to which one was better. Ham was probably the most consistent, he could cover and play the run. I just remember more splash plays by Lambert is all.

Yes, of the post 80s era...Troy is the one guy that I think every Steeler fan would pick.

I also enjoyed watching Rod Woodson play. I was in awe of the Steel Curtain and my favorite SB commercial is with Mean Joe giving the kid his jersey after the kid gave him coca-cola. And the pic of Lambert with his missing teeth, one scary dude,. One of my fav Steelers was Greg Lloyd with Kevin Greene on the other isde

I dunno about that. I think maybe depending on the age of the fan you ask.
Younger fans might think of him more as a packer (winning a superbowl & all) but anyone my age area is always gonna think of him as an Eagle.
As an Eagle is where he had made his mark as a BAD MAN!!!!

Then he took himself & his rep to Green Bay.

Bengals - I went with 1 player at each level:

Tim Krumrie - NT
Ken Riley - CB
David Fulcher - S
Reggie Williams - LB
AMEN!!! Finally, somebody else acknowledges Ken Riley. Why does this guy get overlooked? 15 seasons (all with the Bengals), 65 INTs (still tied for 5th all-time), 4x All-Pro. He had 8 INT in his 15th and final season at age 36. Not bad for a 6th round draft pick.

Woodson could easily be the 4th for me...a shame he couldn't finish in PIT....The Lloyd/Greene combo was stout.

You can disagree - but there is a large, large number of NFL fans who really only think of White as a Packer. I'm old enough to remember his as an Eagle, and still everytime I think of him, my first thought is of him as a Packer. Not being from either place (Philly or GB) I feel that I'm pretty neutral in this. Again, he made his bank playing in Philly. Those were his best years, no doubt about it. But his profile was elevated in GB - Just my opinion.

I think we are saying kind of the same thing. His best years were no doubt in Philly. That's where he made his mark. His profile was raised in GB - he was a bigger name at that point by being the first major F/A signing in NFL history - and going on to win a SB there. His play wasn't the same as it was in Philly (though still very, very good) but his profile was much higher than those years.

The fact that this guy is not in the HOF is a complete and total injustice. There's no other way to describe it. None.

Reggie White...no sir...Eagle 1st and foremost was my memory of him.

Yikes, just 4!?

The amount of waffling it would take for me to nail down #2, #3 & #4 on that list would be immense.

After Joe Greene there's a pretty sizable list to choose from.

Jack Lambert
Jack Ham
Dwight White
LC Greenwood
Mel Blount
Rod Woodson
Troy Polamalu

Even going for a top 10 would be difficult...

Andy Russell
Donnie Shell
Kevin Greene
Greg Lloyd
Jason Gildon
James Harrison

It’s crazy that this guy isn’t in the HOF, he was a player, real good hands and went up for the ball aggressively and had great instincts....Sadly, in 76’ his teammate Lemar Parrish made the Pro Bowl with 2 ints, Riley had 9 and snubbed again....
