At least from looking at how LSU cruised.Exactly. Just as any of the g5 schools mentioned (and the rest of the P5s) would have.
IMO this shows a team needs to finish high in the recruiting rankings to have a shot at a natty. To quote my grandkids, "Well duh Poopaw!"
Alabama at 31 is harsh. They might as well drop football for a year instead of wasting all of that money!
