I would hope the Rams go with Robinson because we have yet to get that space-consuming road grader on the D-line we have needed for some time. The Rams should then go back and re-sign Matthews who held his own in the left side of the D-line and was a solid performer all-around. I don't have much trust they'll make the right moves going forward because of Demoff being involved in any personnel decisions. If they are going to keep this douche bag, they should relegate him to managing the cheerleaders.

NFL dot com did a redraft of the 2017 1st round.

Both Rams 3rd round picks went in the first ( Kupp, Johnson ).

It’s a good thing they can pick in the middle rounds because they really like not having a 1st round pick ( probably just as well with some of the 1st rounders they’ve taken over the years )

Daily reminder that SAM BRADFORD made $129,982,500 to go 34-48-1.

Never made a Pro Bowl or All-Pro team. Never started a playoff game.

Very possibly lives in a castle right now off the coast of some majestic ocean.

And where is Coug when you have corona-mandated hometime and want to get into a major argument of how good Sammy was perceived to be?!

Well here we go. There is a report from NFL homepage that the Gurley deal with the Falcons is rapidly falling apart due primarily to Gurley not being able (corona virus restrictions) to take a physical from the Falcons medical staff.

Gurley is also not in a big hurry to take a physical in Atlanta and this article is stating that the Falcons are considering backing out of the deal offer altogether because of the condition of the knee from the info they received from an independent medical advisor.

Well, if this Gurley deal does disintegrate (he has not officially signed the contract offer) and he wants to pull a Brockers, the Rams may re-sign him (because no one else is going to touch this guy with his bad knee) but it is going to be for a substantial reduction in the original contract amount commonly known as a re-structured deal that others are now doing like Sammy Watkins with the Chiefs.

Three other so-called high FAs like Clowney, Newton, and Winston remain unsigned because of the amounts of money these players are trying to secure and the longer they remain unsigned, the more their money demands are going to come crashing down.

I think some of these players have now reached the golden goose limit and in essence have priced themselves out of the market. Teams are just not going to spend large sums of money on guys who are living off of their past reps while simply have not lived-up to their so-called "potential". WE all know a guy like that. He was a QB and he goes by the name of Sammy on this forum.

Stay tuned because this may get very interesting.

Is it possible to restructure his contract at this point? There would be no motivation for Gurley to do so... This might end up as a nightmare situation where we have a player we really don't want taking up a HUGE chuck of our salary cap... However, there is one good thing... He would know he is gone 100% after this year and would want to kick ass so he could make a ton of money in the future.

Yep, SJ76. I think if Goff falters just a little, I see the Rams moving on from Goff and signing Winston. I also think that whoever is motivating these huge contracts (Demoff), which the Rams are getting weary of, that person or persons will be removed from the job or at least removed from player contract decisions.

LTRF, the Rams are going to have to do something because since they re-signed Brockers, they only have 2.91 mil in cap space available and they have not yet signed Floyd. Robinson has been signed but not Floyd. I'll bet they let Floyd go (with some lame excuse) and then the Rams will begin to re-structure both Goff's and AD's contracts to sign the rooks of the incoming draft class. Perhaps the Rams have learned their lesson. There is an article on Ramswire stating how the bad decisions on player contracts of the Rams long with the Texans' Hopkins debacle are affecting the other teams' FA signings. Good read.

Like Bortles, I think Jameis got the fat contract and needs a change of scenery and could take a pay cut. $1 million/yr I doubt it gets it done tho. We will see what happens. So much more shit going on in today’s world. Hope you are doing well
