I will say this, that 8.5 shmill per season for Draisaitl is looking pretty damn good these days (and I was critical of that signing at the time).

I thought they shouldn't have passed on Bennett once upon a time.

Bennett's not a top ten player from that draft at this point. That's not good.

Yeah, that one stings. His development certainly wasn't helped by shuffling him between center and wing as well as with a bunch of different players (many of them best suited for the bottom 6).

This Oilers team is smoke and mirrors, three out of their last four games they have allowed 40+ shots, they're getting unreal goaltending which is keeping them in games. Tippett was pretty hot in the post-game presser.
