How would this assembled group feel about Teddy Bridgewater as the QB for the next four or five years?

I have a feeling that he's the guy that BB will go after if TB signs elsewhere.

I hope not. There are other QBs I'd rather see BB go after. Especially if we/re talking 4 or 5 years.

Having said that it sure would be nice to have a mobile QB. Then again pretty much anyone replacing TB12 would be considered mobile.

I am previously on the record that he would be my top choice of the available vet QB’s

I think I would rather have Stidham

Bridgewater would cost $10M or less. That's probably one incentive.

Unless Bridgewater re-signs in NO as Brees’ backup again, I’ll bet my mortgage the AAV on his new contract will be a lot closer to $20MM than 10.

IF Nick Foles can get over $20 million and heck Brock Osweiler got $18 million with worst QB play than Bridgewater I just can't see him settling for anything below $20 million. He will have a huge market with his age and play that he put out there this past year.

Belichick is going to pull Andrew Luck out of retirement and fuck with the Colts yet again.

p.s. I think I'd be ok with Bridgewater in NE.

February 15, 2020............Happy 70th Birthday BigKen......!!!!!!

Made the spaghetti sauce yesterday afternoon and kept it cooking until late last night. Veal, pork and burger meatballs, hot italian sausage. Thin Spaghetti and Rigatoni for the pasta because I couldn't find fusilli anywhere and I'm not driving to Boston for it. Bought my own birthday cake with a whipped cream frosting.

Kids and grandkids will be here about 1:00 for lunch and cake.

Didn't bother me a bit when I hit 40 like it does a lot of people, but 70 is a bi different. The road in front of me seems a hell of lt shorter than the road behind me.

Happy Birthday my good man!

And many more.
May you live to be the oldest person in history and keep your faculties intact until you go.

Happy Birthday BigKen! Hope it is a good one and by the sound of the menu it should be. Enjoy your time with family and friends.

Update:

Needless to say, the family was all there and they came hungry.

There were about 5 lbs of meatballs (64) and 18 Hot Italian sausages swimming in nearly two full gallons of sauce. Cooked 1 ib of real Italian rigatoni and 1-1/2 lbs of thin spaghetti. Also made two huge antipasto salads with all of the meats (Mortadella, hot and sweet capicola, genoa and hot ham. Mozarella and provolone). Seriously, you know the food is a success when all you have to is rinse the dirty plates before you put them in the dishwasher and not one plate has to be scraped into the trash. Anyway, there was no leftover pasta, there were three meatballs and four sausages left when we were packing up for everyone to take home. There was only three quarts of sauce left.

I left the SportsHoopla at 2:15 and I fell asleep in my lounger about 7:30 and went to be at 10:00.

If I'm really fortunate, I'll do it again at 80 and maybe I'll have my great-grandchildren here to celebrate.

I just wanted thank all of my friends and sports heroes here on SportsHoopla for all of your good wishes and happy Birthdays.

Bruce Feldman of TheAthletic.com reports that Joe Houston is joining the Patriots as an assistant special teams coach. Houston was a special teams analyst for the Crimson Tide last year.

Houston was a kicker at USC and has also worked as the special teams coordinator at Iowa State.

This is the kind of shit that I have no patience with at all. Tomorrow is March 1. Why has it taken so long to determine that surgery is needed? He injured the ankle against the Eagles and it was sore for the rest of the season. The season ends. Stay off the friggin ankle for two weeks and keep it elevated as much as possible. MRI it. Two weeks of elevation and rest and the shot should be clear. Have a top Othro guy chck it and read the film. Have the surgery two or three weeks ago and by may1, you're walking and possibly even working on an eliptical. Surgery Monday and he's lucky if he makes camp.
