What's funny for me is there are games that end up 6 - 5 in the voting that should have been a shutout, voting is stupid and doesn't work but there's no other way to do it, so...

Ranking and just awarding points roto style. can't vote for own team. though Im sure you tried it

for sure there were only 9 teams so most are top players at their posistion. Obviously there is a clear difference of opinion with it being a shutout. Is what it is.

Definitely not a shut out worthy game at all

I could see losing to that rotation easily

Not really. Sometimes it ends up like that. Shutout means nothing, I think this is one of those games that was close but everyone had the same opinion on the difference in these teams. I've seen lopsided matchups that end up 6-5 and teams that were close that were 6-0. Really thought this was much closer than the voting says

there are definitely better ways to "vote" or however you want to find the best team... Problem is that they all suck... and the whole process to find the best is not what anyone likes to do in these drafts... we all would rather draft...

The one thing nice about H2H is that we can change our minds as the voting goes... sometimes, I find that I miss something, and if I just ranked teams, I would have never caught what I missed...

We've done the ranking before, we've tried it different ways. There are weaknesses in every voting technique. Ranking teams is the same way...sometimes there isn't a huge difference for example between the 3-7 teams, I think that is a much more difficult system. In these sometimes you get bad matchups but you are still a top team. I think if we did voting based on statistics only (like fantasy baseball) it could be fun to try it out but in the grand scheme of things it takes our opinions out of it...everyone has a different opinion so that's why these are so much fun but yes, they can be frustrating at times
