Some here like Robby Anderson, but I feel it's caveat emptor with him; I would rather take my chances in the draft to add speedsters.

The kid from Texas, Devin Duvernay, I feel is being slept on a bit - another burner who looked good in his match-ups at the Senior Bowl and could provide some nice value in the mid-rounds.

I am certainly not part of "some" on Anderson.

Robby Anderson is better than anyone we have currently. If we sign him, that opens up things on the BPA at #21.
There are plenty of Wr's that are very good that will be available in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, and even into the 4th.That said, I want Ruggs or Shenault at #21.

Any thoughts on trading down and getting a late 1st and possibly an extra 3rd?

Not if we can get a stud WR at #21, or to move up. We already have 10 picks. I'd rather get quality than quantity.

I would be totally fine with that. We have a ton of spots to fill and free agency money only goes so far. We need to replenish with youth / draft picks.

Laviska may drop into Rd 2 with several injury concerns ... I'm not really sure what they are, heard it on a draft radio show; gotta do some research. I still maintain that Brandon Aiyuk is being extremely under rated ... his slants to the house and his open field explosiveness reminds me of Beckham Jr. I want to see what he runs at the Combine.

Unless he runs a 4.3, I think he can be had in the 2nd. I also think Higgins lasts til the 2nd as well. I've seen Laviska going anywhere from mid-1st, the anywhere in the 2nd. Funny thing is I don't think Howie and Doug even interviewed Viska, but did about 1/2 dozen other WRs today. Could be he is ff their boards, or their not showing interest on purpose, so he's available at 21.

I think Aiyuk can run in the low 4.4's (similar to Beckham). At least that's what it looks like to me from his tape. He also checked in at 6'0" 205 with an 80" Wingspan ... that's pretty much the wingspan of a 6'4" guy; great for catch radius.

He's the guy I was thinking of trading down for.
Bunch of mocks had him late 1st or in the 2nd.

I’m going to throw a curve at you boys this morning cause there was talk about Diggs on NFL Network, would you trade for him right now?

most likely a first and a third he just got extended last year

I’m all in on Aiyuk. I think he can be a difference maker and a better overall player than Ruggs even though I’m in on Ruggs also.

Rey has a love affair with Aiyuk.
I have one with Shenault.

Something might be wrong with us?! I like both, and will be happy with those two, and several others, except Higgins.

Someone asked about trading for Diggs. I say - No Way. I want us to grow our own. this is the best WR class in memory. Let's take advantage of it.

We need to draft our own. Using free agency, I'm ok with signing 1 vet who has some speed, good hands, and would be a good example/mentor to the draftees.

I think Aiyuk is going in the 1st... he's moving up the boards

How about Chase Claypool?!? 6'4" 238 lbs 4.42 40!!! Plus looked good in the drills too. That man is a beast!

Rd 1: Ruggs/Aiyuk
Rd 2: Chase Claypool

I like this idea a lot. But with the depth at WR in this draft I find it very unlikely that they go two of the same position in the top two rounds.
