We're coming for Embiid though. Would you take Wiggins and the two picks and Chriss for him?

Bruh, I'm a Philly fan.
This kind of story is in our friggin' DNA.....

If Giannis said he wants out there wouldn't be that many better deals on the market for him than Wiggins, 2020 1st, 2021 Wolves First, 2020 Warriors first and could even throw in Eric Paschall too.

Risking a flaming but I don't care.

Lotta smart posters here, plus Wiggy, so I wanted to ask the board:

Should the Ws stand pat this summer with Wiggins as their wing player, use their picks to trade for a center? Use them in the draft? Trade Wiggins and picks for an even better wing (is anyone available)? Trade them for bench depth?

I'd be curious to hear what y'all would do if GM of the Ws. I'll give my ideas as well.

honestly with his career as an underachiever i'd seriously consider dealing him or as you said, get some picks. course my mind might change ifhe plays up to his potential...

I don't know if the Warriors want to make that deal... Eric Paschall got a lot of potential... he's like a younger Giannis but with an easier to pronounce name... might be a deal breaker.

Wiggins and the pick isn't a bad option tbh. What kind offers you get is what matters though? I mean if you can get a legit All-Star that would go perfect alongside Klay and Steph in "win now" mode. They could continue the domination. Not sure what you are going to get straight-up for Wiggins but adding in the pick has huge upside.

Even keeping Wiggins and getting a talented young phenom will be good for the Warriors and if you hit the jackpot and Edwards produces, you have that third guy. Gives you more flexibility to trade Wiggins in two years...just expands all options.

So really the Warriors can go many different ways here. Lucky fucks

They should trade Steph Curry to the Lakers for Jared Dudley. If the Warriors want, the Lakers can throw in Javale McThree so that they still have that 3 point threat to replace Steph.

Well it would certainly help us avoid the luxury tax which Buck says we're not doing. Hell if you take Klay Thompson for us too we might just throw in a couple future 1sts.

It's a big ask. But the draft picks make it worth it.

I'm 100% shopping Wiggins and one of those draft picks (their own or Minny's 2021 pick). But I won't trade it for just anything though.

What makes you think that the Bucks would trade DDV, or have the slightest of interest to add Curry or Thompson?

Here is what I think.

Trading for Wiggins was a huge mistake if they are looking to flip him.

Because, DLo is significantly more valuable than Wiggins in terms of trade value, IMO.

If they they wanted to trade for a better player, they should have packaged Dlo with those picks.

Trading the picks isn’t a bad idea, but they may have realized they don’t need another superstar. What they do need is veteran depth and health. I am not sure who they should try to target in a trade, but I think Wiggins might just fit pretty well next to Klay and Steph. What they need most is a solid, reliable big and a quality wing off the bench to replace Iggy.

Maybe Damion Lee and some of the other youngsters can step into those roles. Maybe they use their picks to acquire cheap young talent that can develop into more prominent roles.

Either way, I expect the Warriors to be among the contenders next year IF they can stay healthy. Big if there.

OMG you are dumb.

His post was obviously a joke.

But if the Bucks could make the money work and keep Giannis and Middleton, they would trade for Curry in a heartbeat. He would fit beautifully with Giannis.

You'are right... DDV is just too damn good.

GS can keep their spare parts.

What would interest us, is to add Tatum and Brown next to DDV... Wilson + Ilyasova should do it if you throw in 3 or 4 1sts... Deal?

I lean this way too
Need to see how he looks with Steph the next 20+ games but I think it will work out for him/them. Then indeed you trade a pick for a decent big and another for a wing.

But I trust these guys to make good moves so we'll see.
