So, what's the deal with the Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich?

I finally got to try one last weekend. It tasted pretty good, but I was almost halfway through it before I tasted any spiciness. Chik-fil-A's is way better if you want a chicken sandwich that brings some heat.

Popeye's spicy chicken isn't spicy.
I have never had any chicken there that has any heat at all.

Trying to cut back on fast food lunches, but out of curiosity I had my first one about a week ago...I agree it's a pretty good fried chicken sandwich. But I didn't get what was so special about it that the had massive lines and ran out.

I think Popeye’s chicken sandwich is better than Chick-Fil-A’s. Both of them seem like they’re missing a couple of toppings though.
