The Chiefs did what I am advocating in 2018 and 2019. I am simply saying to do what they did and they just won the SB so it does work. A good bit of their team was FA. You can see the FA they brought in and look it up. They had a solid draft base obviously but were very active in FA and it paid off.

I doubt the team will take a smart approach. I was against the McNabb trade, signing Haynesworth, drafting Doctson, hiring Zorn, etc. The team would not be in the mess they are if had listened to my suggestions. I have been wrong obviously (trading up for RG3m signing Randle El and Lloyd) but I have generally been right.

Point is there's simply no single way to build a championship team. More often than not it's how players "fit" a system and coalesce as a team, rather than their path to become a member.

I must think we are worse than most fans on here because I think we should bring in about 5 FA starters this offseason. We need an infusion of talent and shot in the arm. Every expert as well as non-Skins fan know how awful this roster is.

I think we can bring in cheap free agents as well as expenisve ones as well. I really think we need to stockpile picks this draft by trade downs and get as much talent as quickly as we can. The good news is that it should not be that hard!

We have an awful roster so upgrading is easy!

IF we have to replace TW, we MUST draft a LT. There are no FA LT worth the money. If we draft a LT, I honestl feel that we must trade back and take a LT with a 1st round pick. LT is critical to Haskins development and confidence.

The 2 best friends of a young QB are blindside Tackle and TE. We have neither currently.
