Holy smokes ... you’re supposed to be sore!!! That’s normal. What’s not normal is not playing through it! That’s what it took to become a pro athlete. These athletes are NERDS

Great to watch baseball yesterday - Albeit spring training. Can't wait for the regular season to start in a few weeks.

Motherf*ck

A dye contrast MRI finally revealed a partial UCL tear in Luis Severino. He is headed for Tommy John surgery and will miss the 2020 season. Testing also revealed pain in the area of the ligament for the first time. Brian Cashman said in-house competition will fill his spot.

Too late to get Sonny "Whitson" Gray back?

Nah, he'd just get the Bronx flu again. Crazy how good he was for Cincy last year though.

They did win 103 last year without Severino, I think they'll be OK.

I just don't understand how they missed the tear until now. If he has the surgery at the end of last year or beginning of the off-season good chance he's ready by opening day 2021. Now he won't be back until at least July or August of next year.

Good for him, but I'm glad he's gone....By chance, did the Mets medical staff take over for the Yanks? Pretty big whiff on the diagnosis......

Yankees are perhaps the only team in baseball that can withstand so many injuries to their pitching staff, their hitting is that good.

Bullpen is nothing to sneeze at either. Figures to be the best in the division, especially after the Rays dealt Pagan.
