This is a look at the last two decades and how teams have fared in that time which includes regular/postseason wins from 1999-2019......

Very interesting to see how well each franchise has done over the last two decades as some have done well and some haven't over that period of time.

New England,Pittsburgh,Indy,Green Bay,Baltimore,Philly,Seattle,New Orleans,Denver and Tennessee are the top ten teams in wins overall during this time.

It's an interesting look at how sustained success leads to better likelihood of championship success even in a league with a lot of turnover where the perception is any given year a team can turn it around and win a title.

The top 8 teams have all won at least one Super Bowl in that time period (15 of the 20 total Super Bowls won). The 9th team hasn't but they did win two Super Bowls the two years prior to the start point of this list. Only 4 teams (12 Chiefs, 14 Giants, 19 Rams & 23 Bucs) outside of those top 8 have won at least one Super Bowl during that time span.

2020 is the last year of this decade, not 2019.

One more year won't change too much. NE will still be at the top and Cleveland will still be at the bottom.

Besides isn't 1999 through 2019 really 21 years.

The difference between 1 and 2 is the same as the difference between 2 and 16.

There is a good amount of parity as long as you ignore the Patriots and the Browns

Titan fan leaves the Vikings off his top 10 list despite having the same number of wins. :D

The 9th team (Broncos) won Superbowl 50 against the Panthers

Thankfully this list started at the end of the 90's .... 90's were a tough decade for us.... But I'll take being part of the 200 plus win club in the last 20 years, that's cool !!

The AFC is full of one team divisions. The only real exception was the Ravens but even they still had the Bengals and Browns to beat up on. The path to the playoffs during this era was so much easier if you're in the AFC compared to the NFC.

This doesn't seem all that interesting to us old people that have been watching for the last 20 years. But I forgot how bad Houston was. They've been cranking out 8-10 win seasons for a few years now. What were they doing in the 90's?

If its counting the from the 1999 season through the 2019 season it is 21 seasons.
This reminds me of that time Newman booked his millenium party for the wrong year.
But you're right, if you wanted the most recent 20 years it would be 2000-2019 or if you go by the year the super bowl was played in 2001-2020

Only if you're one of those teams.

Id also like to point out that while the Chiefs have dominated the AFC West recently, the Chargers are commonly picked to win it every year.

The Broncos ran the division for awhile so you have 3 AFC West teams winning over a long period of time.

IIRC pre-Mahomes, the Chargers and Broncos had a handful of very dominant seasons and brought home one trophy between them. Broadly speaking, I'm not sure you could argue any NFC division had the trouble with parity that the AFC seems to struggle with every year.
