He’s had so many injuries over the last few years that his delivery and control were screwed up which is why he was released. Too bad. I had originally believed he would be an ace when he first arrived and won 11 in 2016.

Phils averaging 8 runs per game so far. However, the guys who are producing them will not make the team on opening day. We will know more when the regulars play in the 2nd half off spring. Pitching sucks in the early going. Not complaining, just observing!

And I am heading to Lakeland next Friday to see them visit the Tigers. Earlier than I usually go (and not a home game) so I don't expect to see any names. But maybe I will at least see some runs.

I didn't realize McCutchen may be out for the first few weeks of the season. Hopefully the Eskimo can make it through spring training without hurting himself. Also I notice they got some good veteran bench guys this year. Neil Walker, Forsythe and Harrison all played yesterday. One or more of them could be useful.

Bethancourt is out of options. He either makes the roster or he is cut. Knapp is injured right now. We still could bring somebody up.
