I'm seeing a lot of mocks that have us getting Higgins, and the Bills right after us, taking Shenault. My worst nightmare! Please no, Howie!

I’ve seen that consistently from Kiper so far. I don’t put much weight in even Kipers stuff....especially pre Combine.

That said.....I totally agree with the worry. Especially after passing on Metcalf for JJAW

As you can see from my avatar, I think so highly about Shenault. The latest mock I saw is that besides Higgins, we get a good CB, a good S, and another good WR. That is a good start to a good draft, with the exception of Higgins while we pas up Shenault.

I'm not getting too excited about WR in Rd 1 ... it's such a loaded WR Draft that I almost expect them to skip WR in Rd 1. Especially is they get either Perriman or Anderson in free agency.

I sort of agree, but if they sign a CB, and WR, we can just take the proverbial BPA. I do hate the thought of grabbing a potential superstar in Ruggs, Lamb, or Shenault though.

I'm with you. Wouldn't be surprised in the least to see them draft Delpit or Mckinney or a cb if they rated enough and get their WR(s) later.
Malcolm is at the back-end and McLeod is not what he once was and beyond them....?

Absolutely LOVE Xavier McKinney ... I would zero issues bringing that cat in.

If Howie get a stud WR, and a stud CB, then we can draft the BPA. Delpit is not one of them. McKinney yes. Delpit is very overrated. I still will hate not getting Lamb, Ruggs, or Shenault. The only non-receiver that I would trade up for is Okudah, the only NFL ready CB in the draft.

I could get on board with moving up for Okudah. He's going in top 5 easily though. He's probably going to be even better than Lattimore as far as a pure shutdown corner. He's a speedster as well.

He, Chase, and Burrow are the blue chippers. Jeudy is not far behind. No wonder you're a big fan.

I agree and I have mentioned previously that there are fewer quality DB’s in this draft than WR’s and you should draft accordingly. As much as I would like a stud WR it just seems like this class screams to take a DB or LB. That said I don’t have a great deal of faith in Howie.

I'm 90% sure that we will not go LB in the 1st. There are some good LB'ers, but they don't place a priority in that position. there are good LBers that they can get in the 3rd or 4th rounds.

Quite a few players at the Backer spot I like who will be 3rd or 4th rounders. My guy is Akeem Davis-Gaither, Appalachian State. Only around 220 lbs but he plays like he's 250. Excellent in coverage and has great chase down ability.

I'm a homer, but I really like Cam Brown, PSU. Not flashy, but is a solid LBer. Should be picked around the 5th round, maybe even the 4th. He should run about a 4.6 forty next week.

Isaiah Simmons will be out of reach, but if Patrick Queen is still there in the 2nd, I'd be tempted to pick him. If we sign a CB, and a WR, then draft the best WR we can get in the 1st round, then we can just go BPA in the 2nd. Queen just might be the BPA at that point.

I can't wait until the Eagles draft Micah Parsons next year. :suds:

Could go LB in the 1st round.....

Just might shock you boys

Patrick Queen?

I'm hearing that even though that he is not as highly regarded as Devin White was coming out last year who went Top 5, some think he has just as much if not more upside as a pro.
