How is he "not wrong"?

Again, if players were discussing the Astros during the '17 season MLB had to have some knowledge. Obviously they were not going to do anything about it until it became a story in the news. Much like the PED scandal. Me thinks your bias is running down your legs.

Possibly, but I'm not laying the lack of proof of these death threats at their feet. No I'm laying this at the liar Mike Fiers feet.

Mike Fiers is, if anything, opportunistic. He said nothing in 2017, 2018 and most of 2019 and now that he's getting blowback for his selective "courage", he's now making up death threats.

When shouldn't matter. Yes he could have come out sooner but he didn't. Also the overplayed adage "all teams do it" and "cheating is part of the game" is moot here, they were caught.

If more of the Astro (11q c n. 88~past and present) players would have the balls to come forward, then maybe the asshole Manfred would do something about the cheating.

Fiers told Martinez, Red Sox about Astros before 2018 ALCS

Fiers also alerted the A's to the scheme in 2018 and they brought it to the league. It was only when nothing was done that Fiers went public to make sure the playing field was leveled.

That's why David Ortiz's comments Thursday in which he said he disagreed with Fiers outing Houston two years after he won the World Series with them were so misguided.

But he is the "bad guy" in all of this, pretty embarrassing for an individual to believe that.
