I slept through the game (weird hours work weekend). But from what I saw of the previews for the jerseys I would say no.

10 years ago if you would have asked me which guy was worth the money the Blackhawks paid to Toews, Kane, Keith and Seabrook, in my view Kane would have been last on the list. And thats the problem the Hawks have now.

I would have said Keith Kane Toews Seabrook. I never thought Toews was as good as people said he was

Kane wasnt a scrapper. And he was little. If he had the same chip on his shoulder as other smaller players like Andrew Shaw or Todd Marchant or even a Theo Fluery, i could see it.
If he wont go into the corner to fight for pucks, you cant use him on PK.
Really didnt expect Kane to last long without that edge.

what do you think about the Hawks and Habs opening wins...
i know the boys inner core is they play to win
and i do believe the Hawks could take another crack at the can even though it isnt really realistic not enough D depth and all but the core is good and they know their time is limited
also they have a better chance then my squad
but what are they both doing....
Habs pick 1st (Lafreniere) or 9th with a loss to the Pens
and the Hawks pick 1st or 10th i think
Edmonton still shaky on D so your boys might just get em...
both game 2s should be mighty interesting with it being a best of 5 and alll...
@SteelersPride if you are here lurking how is the sound in Pittsburgh right now
are fans talking Pens is Cary Price in their heads...or maybe no one cares right now....

we lost a good young up and coming D in Sergachev just trying to appease the fn media and the throngs and let me tell ya Drouin is not the answer....

Suzuki looked good last night for y'all. Isn't he one of those Japanese French stars? Kidding.
With the way the NHL did this years draft, I keep hearing how they are going to give the 1st overall next year to Edmonton or Pittsburgh.

well if the Habs and Hawks win Edmonton and Pittsburgh will have a combined 25% chance of that indeed happening...
and ya Suzuki looks really good and it appears the ol dinasour Julian trusts him....
if he lands some wingers he could be a Bergeron type player and that would be awesome...
is younger brother has talent as well but maybe not quite the same smarts..

Sorry, but I only had time to watch the Hawks-Oilers.
I think the Hawks were a little more prepared which helped.
Oilers had a ton of penalties and the Hawks capitalized.
At times, the age of the older guys (Keith) and the inexperience of the younger guys showed.
I have no idea what the next game holds based on this.
