I'd rather Howie trade for a WR than draft one. Loaded WR draft class but I don't trust Roseman's scouting ability when it comes to drafting a good WR.

the only major Philly rumor is going after the Cowboys CB Byron Jones. I’d rather have Amari Cooper even if our CBs do suck

Seahawks fans (some) on this site and Walt Football don't really seem to like it, but I do. They still have plenty of cap room ($55M after they cut Ed 'useless' Dickson who rode the pine the entire contract) to sign Clowney, and other above average free agents if they choose to do so. Their 1st/2nd round picks are late (cheaper) as well.

Some of their other free agents: Ifedi (improved, but still terrible), Reed (looked terrible compared to 2018, also suspended for 6 games), Woods (suspended towards end of season), all had somewhat lackluster years so I don't think they'll command the massive salaries they are expecting, but who knows.

A bit of sarcasm since yes it happened yesterday and there's whole threads and discussion on it but @DJ broke the news roughly 60 minutes ago.

He's a good GM but can't draft WRs to save his life. Almost as bad with drafting players in the secondary.

literally haven’t drafted a star #1 since Mike Quick. Well I guess we did draft Cris Carter but he wasn’t a star early in his career. But, either way, it’s been a long loooong time.

DeSean was a very good WR draft pick, especially in the 2nd round. Maclin was a quality #2 as well.

you will think im nuts. but id rather have maclin, when maclin was healthy. Djax i always felt was so damn overrated. He can fly, and he will win you a game or two each year. But he'll also disappear for 12 others....Biggest boom or bust guy ever. For a "top" wr, i prefer consistency. like even will fuller, when hes healthy, which is never

Maclin was never much outside of his 2014 season. DeSean was better all around. Top 3 deep threat of all time, has had longevity Maclin didn't come close to touching.

Maclin also has one of the longest injury lists I've ever seen. Like I said, when healthy, which was really never.

mesean can't be a better all around receiver, because he isn't an all around receiver. His 56% catch rate shows that. Again I'll use willl fuller who has a similar style game and he catches almost 61%. His catch rate is right there with tedd Ginns 54.2. He's a one trick pony. He's one of the best at that trick. But like I said, I personally like some consitency.

he's cracked 1k 5 times in 12 years.
He has an 82 catch season, 2-62 catch season and every other season under 60 including 6! Under 60.

my man avg 3.8 catches for 66 yards a game. Also, you know ThTs misleading AF because he has those 150 yard games a time or three a season.

This isn't baseball. As someone who watched both of their careers. DeSean was an unquestionably better WR than Jeremy Maclin.
