Yes, because Kris Bryant is the only young player that has been asked to play multiple positions.

You have Joey Gallo staring you right in the face dude. Third base, first base, right field, center field. Doesn't seem to bother him either. Max Muncy doesnt care. Javier Baez doesnt care. There are literally dozens of examples. This narrative that playing multiple defensive positions craters your hitting is completely made up.

Like I'm not a huge JD fan but just making up shit to blame the org makes you look clueless.
You brought up Bryant. He was a bad one to bring up. That is all I pointed out

My beef with the way they handled Profar was the lack of playing time. I never worried too much about the multiple positions, as least compared to some folks concerns about that.

LOL at deflecting

Why dont you show me all the teams over the last 30 years that had only one good player and went out and bought a championship team in free agency? Even the Steinbrenner Yankees had Jeter, Posada, Bernie Williams, Mo Rivera.
No one said they should have went out and bought a championship team in this single offseason.

Brock Burke has a major shoulder injury and is just beginning a throwing program. Pretty sure Allard is the first man up if there's an injury of Kyle Gibson's ulcerative colitis flares up.
That's right. I forgot about that. He received an injection back in January and will behind the others. Thanks for reminding me.

Results have gotten worse for the little stinker.

Right now under is at 62% and over is 38%
It is funny how many of the guys over there on the LSB board, follow Adam Morris' lead. Many of them, if they like Odor, they think they have to belittle Santana.

it’s an AJM blow job fest.

AJM must have friends in the front office. Odor sucks ass by all measurable standard, but those guys talk about him like he’s going to break out any minute now.

odor can have all the physical tools in the world, but it doesn’t matter because the guy is a mental midget. He’s terrible at the mental aspect of the game and always will be.

he’s never struck me as the type of player who could put it all together. JD really messed up on that contract.

You are completely missing the point. It has nothing to do with Profar being asked to play multiple positions and EVERYTHING to do with Profar not getting any real playing time at any of them. Kris Bryant, Gleyber Torres, and Cody Bellinger have always been regulars in the lineup since the day they first set foot in the majors. Furthermore, each of those guys had a whopping 2 positions to play... Bryant with 3B and LF, Torres with SS and 2B, and Bellinger with 1B and RF (and a few in CF). Jurickson Profar was benched for multiple games at a time, and when he did play he never knew where he was going to be from one game to the next. He didn’t receive any kind of real work at any of the positions.

It’s true that his development was set back a bit from being injured for 2 years, but it’s not like that was career-ending. The Rangers did his development no favors when he returned. Parking a guy on the bench is only going to make matters worse for him when he’s 2 years removed from the game.

I am wondering the same thing. He was so red hot I used to think nothing could get past him. Makes you wonder doesn't it.

If this stands it alters my opinion of Ortiz.
I have never been a fan of Ortiz for a couple of reasons.
Boston will get their hand slapped this week Wont be surprised if he weighs in on that too

Boston's 2nd penalty should be greater than the Astro's most recent one... already tried cheating once, and then after everyone was warned about it, they tried again

Until MLB slams these cheating teams it will continue.

I know it’s of little importance in the grand scheme of things, but if any of you guys fill out all star ballots.

don’t vote for any Astro players no matter what.
