I don't think it is that crappy of a product. And for me the timing is perfect because my favorite 2 sports are football and baseball and this bridges the gap til baseball.
But full disclosure, I'm a degenerate and if I was not gambling on it in some form I would probably be less enthusiastic.

Also on a side note, although the players aren't as good somehow they managed to get referees that are better than the NFL refs.

Curious if the level of play makes this easier. Can't call a ticky tack PI when the secondary is burned and no one is within 5 yards of the receiver. I'd expect more Oline holding though, since it looks like the Dlinemen are vastly better than the offensive tackles league wide.

Could be. And I think the Offensive line is something that takes a few games to play as a team. They didn't have any preseason games or anything. The first week no one could run the ball and the less mobile qbs were kind of sitting ducks. It got better the 2nd week.

The longer the offenses play together the better they will get.

I know. But a league the preached speed, points, ooffense as a selling point, 20% of the way through season, is floundering already. Their leading passer doesn't even have 500 yards.

I'm all for more football.

This is one area Vince McMahon did not learn from his first time around. In 2001 he started putting the league together in December of 2000. Then started play in February of 2001. This caused teams to not be in sync with one another. It got better as the season progressed. While putting the plans together for this go around a while back, he did not put the teams together until December of last year. Football being the most team of team sports, the players need time to get used to one another and McMahon has ignored that part both times.

I am agreement, I have been enjoying the games except for that Dallas / LA game Sunday. That one was really bad on the offenses.

I find all that a positive. I would prefer more defense n the football I watch.

Anyone playing these games today

I like houston -6 or 6.5
I like dallas -4

The first game I kinda like the under.........even though houston has gone over twice

The second game i like the under as well

Just considering since DK has a odds boost........

anyone with thoughts

At first glance Houston looks obvious. But this is their first road game. Can we be sure they didn't benefit from some elaborate cheating scheme in their first 2 games?

Looking at it some more. Houston really is the best team. But Tampa signed a guy who has over 10,000 yards in the CFL. SJ Green, a guy from South Florida. The problem for them is they don't really have a qb. From what I've seen Cornelius sucks. Flowers can run around a little but last week he threw one of the worst interceptions I've ever seen. He was in the end zone and he somehow managed to throw it so that a guy 5 feet in front of him caught it for a pick 6. I swear the guy who caught it was like a nose tackle or something-definitely not a guy who is used to catching the ball. Still I think Flowers might end up being the qb for this one if Cornelius screws up early.
