It's a fair comparison goes to speak of the inferior talent across the board really. I get it, people want to watch football no matter how sub par the game is. If they are willing to watch knowing this then they should accept it for what it is.

Exactly. I haven't watched full games. Watch a half here and there depending on what i'm doing. Heck it is football that's going to carry us into April. At that point, NFL football season isn't that far away. Draft in May, mini camps in June, and then training camps open in late July/early August. At least this speeds up the offseason IMO

is the draft only for College? Could someone use a draft pick on a payer from another league?
Not that I would, but just a curious question for a team maybe late round or something?

Or is it only for the NCAA?

I hardly heard about the XFL this weekend compared to last weekend. Is it already losing steam?

Didn't even know it was on this past weekend. I happened to stumble upon the game while flipping channels

Deep discussions going on here. I have watched 7 of the 8 games (didn't see the Tampa Seattle game) and the Dallas LA game was piss poor play for 3 quarters. Other then that the games have been enjoyable to watch.

It is football in February and March and it is better than the AAF. I have zero complaints either

i dont think its attendence that they need to worry about. Its the TV ratings, and the draw nationally overall
When you produce a crappy product you will not get the following. Plus IMO they did not hit the market at the right time. They should have started this in May people would be wanting to watch football a lot more than at this time, right after the Super Bowl.

I get why they did it. They figured people are in full football swing, college is over, pros are over. They just have the continuation as the only game in town. I can see the logic.

Maybe, but I feel had they made people wait 3 months people would have starting Jonesing for football.
