That Snell trade is a perfect example of Bucky not understanding how finances work in the NBA. He sees a team over the cap over in the luxury and assumes that the team is DESPERATE to get out and that doing so will doom them forever.

He also has a delusional understanding of how likely it is for young up and coming players to turn into bona fide stars. And his obsession with players making the rising stars team is downright hilarious.

the Heat are getting to be a very expensive, very mediocre team- with no kind of draft capital to trade, and tons of mediocre players on long term market/above market contracts.
