Panthers go with Grier, trade Cam for a '21 draft pick, have leagues worst offense..I'm not worried

You say that as if the exact same thing didn't happen this year. It makes absolutely no difference how terrible that offense is if on every passing play they have one read and if it's not there it's a dump down to McCaffery. He was still on the field even when they were losing by 30 late in the 4th quarters, so unless he gets hurt, he'g going to have 2000 total yards and 10-15 touchdowns to go along with at least 80 receptions regardless of how bad the offense is.

Over due for a injury given his work load, just saying.

At some point it always does, or at least, in most cases. It's funny but one of my biggest concerns (if I was him) is a decline in Jackson. I don't know why but I see him play and think back to Kaps, who took the league by storm and later faded badly once defenses came up with schemes to contain him. I could be way off base, which is a distinct possibility, the kids talented for sure - but you can be sure defensive adjustment will be made. ..... just thinking out loud. ....

I agree with this to an extent. I think the league will figure out a way to cover the tight ends eventually against him and it will really hurt the passing production. However, unless he gets hurt, his rushing will be unstoppable. I don't think Kaepernick is a fair comparison. He was never the athlete that Jackson is. You watch him play and it's just sickening how stupid he makes people look when he runs the ball. I don't think he'll ever lose that unless he gets hurt. Vick is a much better comparison and he was able to run effectively even late in his career, he was just never as good of a passer as Jackson is. I know that you don't watch the games Dad but it doesn't even matter if teams are in good position against him as a runner, he still makes them look stupid. And at quarterback if your "floor" is even 800 rushing yards and 5 rushing touchdowns (which I think are both low for him), then you are starting the season with 110 fantasy points before you ever throw a pass. Even if he reverts to the medium throwing the ball, you would have to throw for 1600 more yards (64 points) and 8 more touchdowns (48 points in 6 point passing TD leagues) just to equal his rushing floor. That's a awfully nice cushion to work with.

He's a special kind of athlete running the ball. I mean special sincerely. A step up from Vick even, but he's is really limited as a passer. I don't think it will take a injury to change Jackson athletic skills per say, I don't feel he can keep that level up for long. just a little regression will make a difference IMO and that will happen soon. Maybe not next year, but I'd lean to the year after for that to happen and down hill from there. He would be a sell high candidate for me and I'd lean to selling either this year or at worse next off season.

CMac didn't score near what he did with even Kyle Allen, once Grier was in. It ain't about being on the field regardless of the score, when your team can't get past the 50

I agree, but his receiving gives him a really high floor every week regardless of which side of the 50 they are on. I don't see how you can take anybody else at #1 overall in any kind of PPR redraft league next year. Are you worried about regression and/or injury, of course you are. In fact in non-ppr I'm leaning more toward Zeke at #1. McCaffery did have 48 more touches than anybody else (403 - 358 for Zeke) which is probably going to catch up with him eventually. There have only been three seasons with over 400 touches since 2010 and none of them will exactly have you brimming with confidence, Leveon Bell had 406 in 2017 then sat out a year and sucked last year and the infamous Demarco Murray season of 2014 when he had 449 and that essentially killed him. So now that I'm typing this, maybe I'll be more hesitant on McCaffery next year than I initially thought. Which probably means for the first time ever I'll get the #1 pick in like 5 leagues. LOL.

You have a wide selection of RBs now. 2 Cowboys RB, 3 Rams RBs and 2 Steelers RBs.

Little surprise to see you move RBs without getting one back, but think Moore was a nice get. Course you were somewhat loaded at WR.

full disclosure, I was torn on what to do here, kept getting mixed messages when I consulted my behind the scenes fantasy guru
