10. WASHINGTON HUSKIES
With defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake stepping in as Washington's head coach post-Chris Petersen, the Huskies won't steer away from their oft-reliable defensive scheme. Washington ranked third in the Pac-12 last season in total defense, the first time the Huskies didn't hold the top spot since 2014.

"They return four starters in their front six with Josiah Bronson and Levi Onwuzurike inside, and Ryan Bowman and Joe Tryon outside," Dawgman's Chris Fetters said. "They will be integrating new inside linebackers to replace seniors Brandon Wellington and Kyler Manu, but walk-on Edefuan Ulofoshio played so well at the end of the season they recently put him on scholarship. Expect UW to stick with their base nickel scheme, and only replace one starter in Myles Bryant. Keith Taylor and Trent McDuffie should begin the season as their starting corners. At safety, true sophomores Asa Turner and Cameron Williams lead the charge, and getting Elijah Molden to return for his senior year was huge. He should pick up right where Bryant left off."

Washington lost 9 starters on defense after the 2018 season and it showed last year. The Dawgs defense should be back in form for 2020.

Oregon led the league in INT's last season and now this guy is gone as of last week not to mention they've had one 4* 2021 recruit decommit just two days after the coach left to USC and rumor has it another one is getting ready to decommit.

They hired Minnesota's DB coach to replace him. Minnesota had the 12th rated pass defense in the nation. They also had the same INT% as Oregon last year, so probably won't really skip a beat.

2019 is conspicuously absent on that graphic.

What QB is going to do that.
This ^^ .. Michigan isn't beating this year's PAC champion on the road.

14 bold predictions for the 2020 college football season

11. WASHINGTON WINS THE PAC-12
Washington, in a bit of a down year, went toe-to-toe with the best Oregon team in years in 2019. Now Oregon has to replace Justin Herbert and a whole bunch of offensive linemen. What makes this extra bold is that Washington must go on the road at Utah and at USC from the South, while Oregon’s road trips against the South are at Colorado and at Arizona.

We have 3 four star QBs on the roster. One of them will do fine in shredding a pac defense coached by a nobody.
Guess who was a HC in the PAC yet never won a conference championship.

This guy.

It'll be a major disappointment if the 2020 UGA defense isn't the best unit they've put out there in my lifetime.

They've been getting hyped by the sports writers big time.
