Well the freak is making him look like he doesn't belong in the NBA tonight. What an eye opener. Antetokowhatever is making him look short and fat. And he can't get over a screen to save his life. Williamson/Morant 1/2 is going to end up looking like Oden/Durant when this is all said and done. This guy's never going to be good.

Players (especially rookies) aren't allowed to have bad games

Francesa is an idiot, never even played basketball at the YMCA or much less has any basic knowledge of college or pro sports, especially basketball!

BTW, Zion had 31 points and 9 rebounds last night against Portland

His pick and roll defense is awful and he doesn't close out well at all. That's what I'm getting at. If you can't do those things then you're going to have a very tough time out there.

Well he probably has no chance of getting any better.

You're kidding, right? You have to be.

He's a rookie. Almost no rookie comes into the NBA and plays dominant defense. Especially against one of the best players in the game.

I don't know if he'll be a great defender or not. But I'll bet, like virtually every rookie, he'll be better at it in a couple of years than he is now.

Isn’t that the game where they had 40 assists? Omg. This team may be a better watch than the klay-steph-kd dubs.

The kid's going to be a star. The only question is he going to be a top 15 type star or a top 3 type superstar. we'll know the answer in about 2-3 years.

It was the Portland game where they tried Carmelo on him and he couldn't stop Zion, then they tried Whiteside on him and he's 7 feet tall and Zion went over him, then they tried 6-8 Ariza and he couldn't stop him, and at one point even CJ McCollum was on him and it was no contest, Zion got anything he wanted in that game.

Haha, damn. :D Thanks. I hope YouTube has a condensed version of that game so I can see him in action.

Averaging 23/7 on ~60% shooting. In 28 mins/game. Only rookie to come close to those stats was Shaq (23 on 57%). But that was at 38 mins/game. Not even MJ or Wilt put up Zion's numbers their rookie years.

After last night, he's now up to 24 ppg on 60% shooting. Over his last 10 games, he's at 27 ppg. His FT percentage on the season is a totally workable 65%. His PER is 25.57, which is 12th in the league. Every player above him is a future Hall of Famer.

The guy hasn't had even 20 NBA as of yet and the Pels are clearly performing on a top-5 level in the West...

If they can use the rest of the season to have him taking a step further ahead and will make the playoffs, the Pels could be a threat for any opponent in the playoffs.

I like the Grizzlies and believe they'll surely be much better and in the playoffs next season, but in all fairness it's the Pelicans instead the team that worth to be in the postseason and would make the playoffs much more exiting given they will match against the "hated enemy" in the 1st round and could be even better than they now are...

Imagine if the Pels take the LAL circus out already in the 1st round?

LOL... it's gonna be the biggest earthquake which has hit LA ever... The circus tried to break apart the Pels and they'll be breaking the circus apart instead...
What a revenge that could be!

Yeah, the Lakers just swept the Pelicans 4-0 in the regular season. In one of those games Lebron sat out and last night AD sat out, but yeah... LOL

Wouldn't it be funny if the Magic took the Bucks out. Then Giannis would leave the team and the Bucks can fight against the Cavs for the lottery picks next year.

LOL
