You know those games aren't scheduled the year before, right? Most OOC games are scheduled 5+ years in advance, so it's irrelevant to post their records any season but when you played them.

The guy has won 21 games in two seasons. They won 34 games over the five season before he got there. I think third tier is fair.

Personally I'm a bit partial to their total dismantling of michigan, but those were both solid wins as well, especially with LSU finishing 6th in 2018.

You lost the argument, so you what? wait a couple days later and then post a claim victory of sorts by questioning my evidence days after people have forgotten we even had the discussion? The VAST majority of the teams I listed having good seasons, had those seasons 3-5 years prior to our playing them. Only 2 of them had the good seasons I listed 1-2 seasons before we played them.

But no matter what you claim, THE FACT that all those teams I listed had good seasons BEFORE we played them, proves they were quality opponents that ended up on our schedule. Did they happen to have good seasons the year we played them? What does that really matter when the topic at that moment was the attitude of the school when they scheduled the games, NOT the sos as it turned out. DUH. I mean, just stfu.

Nobody tries to get 3-4 super high quality teams on their ooc schedule in the same season, and even with the unpredictability of scheduling it almost never happens that a team DOES have that many on their ooc schedule, even accidentally, not if they play in a legit P5 conference, it would be retarded to do that. So for UMn to have gone into the 2019 season with 3 ooc opponents who all had won 10-12 games the year before was arguably historic, I mean, how many teams can ever have claimed the same? Just as all 3 of them having less than stellar seasons just one season later was also strange as going into 2019, almost no one would have predicted ALL 3 teams would have downer seasons, even though SDSU having a down year means they finish the season merely in the playoffs, just not in the Semi-finals. But your own post argues that the teams are scheduled many years prior to when the games are played, so how can anyone predict how good the team might be that far into the future? Look at Bama this season, 4 years ago someone wanting to play a Top 3 team may have wanted to schedule Bama this season, only to be disappointed that Bama, an almost sure thing, failed to finish that high. On average, most programs try to get one high quality opponent onto their ooc schedule and one cream puff, and the 3rd team probably depends on how good the team is doing at that time, if they are doing really well, they may want a 2nd good team for another chance for a big win, if a team just brought in a new coach who wants and needs wins to build up so he can keep his job, that 3rd team might be another creampuff or a weak arse P5 team as kind of a cheat, or a G5 team that occasionally has a good season. But you also have to look at the fact that teams historically made money on HOME GAMES, and so many schools try to get as many home games onto the ooc schedule as possible, and how willing opponents are to play road games may have much more to do with what teams end up on schedules than how good the scheduler thinks they will be 4-5 years down the road, lol. I mean, SEC teams usually only try to get 1 super high quality team on their ooc schedule about once every other year. There are exceptions like Florida who tried to have both FSU and Miami on their ooc schedule every year, which last season would have almost hurt their SOS, which is kind of funny, tbh.

It's a blanket statement for all of your OOC games. No argument you've made makes your OOC any better. You haven't played a very good one. It doesn't matter if the team had a good season a year or two before, it matters how good they were the year you played them.
