Rivers is currently a better QB than Brady. I think where he lands is much bigger news. Rivers can play...he just has issues against NE and KC. He could absolutely make the playoffs if he goes to the NFC or something like that

Meh still declining...20 INT's. No thanks

Why would the Chargers want a 43 year old QB? Maybe a QB coach?
Very simply, the Chargers have receivers that will catch Brady's passes. They don't need him for very long, just long enough to get a championship. Would suit both sides I suspect.

Well good luck with Brady winning a championship with the Chargers. He would have a time winning the AFC West.

I have no plans to cheer on the Chargers, but he may be able to do some shit there. It would be fun to see or he could just turn out like Montana did in KC.

Brady is definitely on the last hole but hasn't thrown more than 1 int in any games this season. Rivers has a 4 int game, 2 3 int games and multiple 2 int games this season
In fairness, Brady was playing with the lead most games and Rivers wasn't. That nugget of info makes a substantial difference in interception totals.

Brady has always been more careful with the ball than Rivers. All things equal, Rivers still throws more picks than Brady, but I wouldn't trash Rivers too much over it. If he lands on a decent team, Rivers' TD:INT could easily be >2:1 next year.

I think he retires. Guy had a very good career but I think it's time for him to retire.

It wasn't about trashing Rivers , just saying that he might be long in the tooth, as well as a few other Qb's including Brady, and their best days are behind them

Rivers is declining but to a certain degree he has always been that guy. His Aprox value has been steady the past 6 years according to pro football reference.

The problem with Rivers goes beyond stats, though. One game he'll be Peyton Manning, the next game he'll be Baker Mayfield, and then the third game he'll be Jameis Winston. But he could be that inconsistent semi-franchise QB for another few years imo.

Brady...there is a 50/50 shot that he is just flat-out done. If he isn't, then I think you might see one great year out of him and then he'll be done. Brady has already broken the curve on QB age. He went out and played like a backup QB game manager for a year. Odds are pretty decent that father time has already won. If you're signing Brady at this point, you're signing him for one last run.

Yes I agree, why go to any losing team and ruin your legacy?

Unfortunately Rivers really doesn't have a legacy, good career but that's about it
Actually I was talking about Brady's legacy. Why would Brady want to go another team and tarnish his legacy?
