Was It Right To Postpone The NBA Game Between The Two Teams In Los Angeles?

The NBA game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers was postponed in Kobe Bryant's memory. Ever since the devastating helicopter crash, Kobe Bryant's legacy was spread around the world. It was the Lakers' decision to postpone the game. I thought it was a wise and caring idea to postpone the game because the Lakers were the last basketball team in the NBA that Kobe Bryant played for before he retired in 2016. The teams that did play even held the ball in moments of silence for 24 seconds after Kobe Bryant's jersey number. I thought it was an excellent way to remember Kobe Bryant.

I don’t have an issue with it. A lot of people in both organizations were close to Kobe. They weren’t ready to play at Staples. The fans probably weren’t either.

I have, on 5 occasions.

Do you know what it's like walking to your car after the game?

Terrifying enough that I don't take my children.

Most of those games were during the time that the Clippers sucked.

Now, add in the sadness, depression of losing their favorite deity...

What would happen if the Clippers won again?

Hopefully nothing. But, why chance it?
